Lack of food was a mistake also id have tried to mic up DC or Stewie and yates so people knew more about the training drills ... Smallest child home kit was 20% off but with a poss money spinning trip to Wembley Around the corner i can see why no reductions. Id have put the players in the other bar and let people in 50 at a time was chaotic for a while but fair play to the club it was good thing that can be improved next time ,freebie old programmes and bits n bobs for the kids was a good easy thing to do as well

Do you think players are being told to stare / sqwint at the camera these days, as if they have bad eyesight? Sorry, just something I noticed.. Watching 'god bless america', where you'd be dust for doing that...

very surprised not to see any of the kit in the shop not discounted yet!!?? 5 games to go and it's still full price!!! no food available and very poor organising at the end with player signings! kids got abit bored tbh. typical half hearted rovers imo. Hopefully it was more just that it wasn't planned well enough. Not half hearted, just not quite right. Hopefully with this feedback it can be improved.

Enjoyed the morning but concur with most of the comments above.
- Food would have been welcome, pasties, pies, bacon butties etc.
- More discounts in the shop were needed, with only a few games left a discount on this year's gear would have cleared much of the stock.
- Shop was heaving at times, maybe having separate entrance/exits would have made life easier for all.
- Player's session was chaotic. I thought with the players all lined up a queuing system would have been more efficient. Sadly it turned into a free-for-all with some over enthusiastic ladies suffering from PMS (Pushy Mum Syndrome) forcing their little darlings ahead of use queue-abiding (and very patient) Gasheads.
- A few years back the players wandered over to the terraces after the training session and mingled with the fans - worked really well and should possibly have been considered this time. Think Shaun North did a running commentary on the training methods too, and produced little diagrams so we could understand.
- Freebie old programmes were very welcome - maybe there were some other old/outdated items from the shop which could have be cleared?
But on the whole my lad enjoyed it, took plenty of pictures and enjoyed his chats with the players and DC. A bit of fine-tuning for the next one and it could prove to be even more popular next time.

Why are they going to reduce shirts with the very strong possibility of Play offs and the n a 50% chance of going to Wembley and 25000 big game fans at least and many will pay full price for a shirt.

As an aside, from what I saw Mansell looks well up for it.
Was very impressed with him. He was desperate to win and work hard the whole session.

Obviously not everybody at the club singing from the same hymn sheet. Clearly said on the OS that food would be available, having said that the cremated pasties would not have done the little uns teeth any good! I would have thought a free chocolate bar or cream egg for all the kids for Easter would have gone down well.

Crisps and chocolate could be bought from the tea huts. Captain gas gave away chocolate and sweets as well as keyrings, pens and badges to kids.

It's important to say that all the people I spoke to enjoyed the session, but felt it could have been tweeked and improved on for next time.
Better food, players coming straight to fans on terrace after and some sort of tannoy/comment from MS/DC and it would have been perfect.

If the clubs easter bunny is anything like the clubs santa then please keep him away from future supporters!!

Pretty good turn out. Kids seemed happy enough. If we do it again it would be better if the players just came to meet the kids right away rather than going for a shower and getting changed. We waited 30 mins after but no sign of the players in the clubhouse which was too long for my boy to hang on. Wow! That is poor - you'd think they would announced something to let supporters know. Would say there was at least 300 there. I went with my boy and we enjoyed it, but 30 odd mins was enough for us. I thought Bell-Baggie looked good but he is VERY small. Balanta, Mansell and Brown impressed me in training and mini match. Didn't look like Harrison or Lockyer trained. So is the greatest player in the world... STUART SINCLAIR
