What we need to remember is the Conference are known for coming down heavy on discipline matters and importantly - they would love to keep a team that attracts over 6k fans in the conference, it raises the profile of their league and makes it easier to sell future sponsorship deals.
Plus, with the likes of Villa, Reading etc all going on the pitch recently someone is gonna become scapegoat soon to restore order.
In my opinion.

There's always one. Actually, there's always quite a few fucken jebends who cant help themselves. We ought to have a marksman team on the roof. If anyone costs us points I'll die. To be fair, a pitch invasion is standard if you win the league. That does not make it right.
If we were to "win" the league on the final day and then lose it through a points deduction, I guess there would still be some forum members bemoaning the injustice of it all and trying to justify themselves for invading the pitch on the final whistle. If they could contain themselves for a few minutes longer then I would opine that if they went on the pitch after the players had actually left it, it would not be classed as an invasion for punishment purposes.

And what better a scapegoat than some waterpoor conference club that no one gives a sh** about and is too small and insignificant to put up a fight?

I've been thinking the same - we are on the radar for the incidents early this season, and the idiot that confronted Craig Stanley recently. The point about us giving the Conference some status shouldn't be a factor, but I can see it influencing someone at the top in the Conference Management IF we give them the opportunity. Therefore, please don't let anyone jeopardise our league position in the last 7 games by going onto the pitch, abusing a player or official, etc etc. We must get out of this league, let's bite our tongues where necessary and put our energy into supporting the team and squad to get us there.

really hope it does not come to a "must win" situation for the alfreton game.. hopefully all done and dusted at dover.. The Dover game will be a tough one in itself, they will be no pushover at their place

Anyone that runs on the pitch this season after what's gone before is a selfish twat. Somewhere in this comment there's a joke about most of last season's squad, but I'm too tired to nail it down properly...

When was the last time there wasnt a pitch invasion after the last home game? Doesnt matter if we finnish top, bottom or 14th people have and always will try and get on the pitch. Would be stupid if we win the league and you have to wait ages for the idiots to get off the pitch before any trophy can be collected.
