I hate to be repetitive, but i'd just like to reiterate that you can change your vote at any time during the season, depending on how optimistic you’re feeling at any given time, and if you haven't voted yet, feel free to do so at any point of the season….
I need the format to be understood to make it a success…. This is why I hang around by my computer like a sad git waiting for the 20th post on a page to appear so I can grab top spot on a new page....
I will do updates on opinion swing throughout the season, it will be interesting to see how it progresses….
Thank you everyone for voting…. And thank you once again mods for pinning….
edit: someone has voted for "The truly unthinkable (i wont even say it)" I had in my manifesto that we wouldn't get one there all season......

Well i feel, at this moment in time, confident of a play off challenge so voted play offs. The teams we have played that have won promotion from the conference have been good, but nothing we can not become,if certain players stay and the right ones signed

I felt it would be a real struggle but now feel it will become farcical because ofthid involvement in the wycscumgate stuff. Our once popular club is being dragged to its death by the board and regardless of the result we will find it very difficult to attract players. Also have to wonder about registration for the Skrill prem over this. Potentially could ed up not registered or accepted. It's s clusterfuck

Even before we get players in I would hope that we will be inspired to aim high.
I want leadership that can stand tall and believe in so much better for this football club. I can't be done with looking back. We learn and we move on. We have as much chance as anyone and should create the conditions around the club where we expect better. Not because we are Bristol Rovers but because we are a club that sets goals for our manager that shows our ambition and what we expect.
Let's be ambitious and aim high. I'm up for this, but then again I always aim. I'm refreshed and ready for a season that this time we might not forget. This forum is back and now we need others around to match the quality of what I see here.
Could be exciting times!

I've had to go for mid table. So many seasons of falling horribly short I feel that I'm just waiting to be let down again. The heart says we should make the play offs but I fear another inconsistent season where we just can't get a run going like all the other recent seasons and end up perhaps 10th.
That said, I'm hoping I have good reason to upgrade my prediction by Christmas!

So I've spent a day thinking about what we should be achieving and what a reasonable set of key principles might be. I'll hold off from predicting for now although we ought to be thinking of play offs as a minimum. But before we look at positions, I'm keen on seeing the ambition of our club.
As many will know, I don't fear the future but look forward with hope and optimism.
We need to build the confidence of the fan base and encourage ideas though listening and building up the trust between everyone connected with the football club. It's possible and I do hope that we can make the connections and the alliances we need to move the club forward. This forum has already brought together a group of individuals, all passionate, all committed and who found ways not to be silenced. If we can come together any group can. Though gaschat and community conversations we might just find that our anger can be replaced with considered thought and action that brings all of us together.
So we start with listening to all. Not just talking but real deep listening. And I mean listening not to judge but to keep the dialogue open so we can understand where everyone is coming from. We can create a team right through this football club. That is essential if we are to progress.
Then, I'm looking for inspiring, optimistic and forward looking communication from the club to generate the enthusiasm across the club that can propel us forward next season. There is no point looking back now. We need to learn and move on. We should have no need to worry. No need for thinking the worst. No need to think we can't bounce back.
We can see the commitment on here, we need to be confident about our future and together we can win again. We should set goals or targets that encourage everyone to think beyond just doing the minimum.
Some World Cup teams might have a security goal of not being bottom of their group, some might have a realistic goal of getting to the quarter finals, some might find it stretching to get to the semi finals and of course, some might even get to the final and win. For some teams, getting to the semis might be an expected and realistic goal. For the very best teams they expect to get to the semi finals.
If England win the World Cup, then from where I'm sitting it might be g r o u n d b r e a k I n g. It might be realistic to get to the quarters.
Let's get positive and think, from where Bristol Rovers are now, we might just build a club that can at last aim high. No reason why this club can't be winners. We wait and watch and see what the future holds. Whatever it is I'm in!

Going to need some positive news soon or my vote will be changing. We need to get things in place and fast if we are to have a successful season.

Most likely low mid table as things stand.... But hopefully will be at least high mid table, as such a big change off players do take time to gel. Wishing for play offs though ?
