Straight back up for me, no playoffs.

I have changed my mind again. Playoff contenders now.

My mind has changed with the recent signings of Mansell, Monkhouse & Leadbetter.... One or two more signings like this and I believe the play offs are achievable at the very least.

I've been "mid-table" from the day the poll started and still am (but I'd say "just miss out on playoffs" - i.e. 6th-9th at present - but there's no option for that so will leave as mid-table).
However, another 3 to 4 signings and I'll probably be opting for playoffs.

I think it'll take us a while for us to find our feet what with practically a new squad who have never played in anger as a team, but with a huge following home and away, think the team will rise to the occasion and we'll be back up in no time.
Bags.

I'm sticking with my playoff predication. I think we have a decent looking side but my prediction will change dramatically if we have an injury crisis like last season.
More depth required.

Somewhere between 6th and 10th early prediction, have a feeling that by November that prediction might prove to be a bit pessimistic/optimistic one way or another though.

My feelings about this have been steadily on the increase for a couple of weeks now as more signings have been steadily trickling in, I've always thought that we would get a top 10 finish anyway, but I really think now that if we can get Turley and the talked of winger and striker in this week then we could be on for a top 6/7 finish with me leaning more towards a play off place/challenging for the league, wether this proves to be over optimistic I don't know and can't really say until I've seen a couple of games.
One thing I know for sure is that I can't bloody wait for it to start!!

I know we're favorites but the last few seasons have proven that means nothing. Ok we will have the one of the best budgets and some of the best players so in that respect we should probably be looking at play offs at least but I'd take a top half finish, I don't think i could bare another relegation scrap. If we finished 10 th and Clarke had got us playing decent football and it was clear we were working towards something then I would take that.

Did we get the wingers ? No. Do we have any creative midfielders ? No. Do we have any real dead ball specialist ?no. I am sorry to pee on this parade but if we don't have the creative/ assist type players then how can we expect to have our front line to score the goals that we need ? It is too late in the day now to have the players in that DC said were our priority and the nailed on loan he says he had has fallen through. Unless this league is worse that I expected then I just don't see us scoring the goals that are needed. We are still 3 players short. Mid table as it stands, if we can get the players we need then that can change. I had hoped we would have at least one player who can provide good crosses. I wonder who will take penalties, I expect Browner to continue with free kicks. I was really hoping to hear of these wingers sign. I have looked every day in the hope we would have sorted it.

I dont think Gosling will make the starting eleven and i dont think DC intends on using wingers. Will be a 5-3-2

This will be a tough league to escape. There haven't been many who have bounced straight back up so it just shows how hard it will be. Getting off to a good start will instill confidence. Good luck for the season guys.

You could say it is a bit knee jerk but after the first 2 performances, I can't see us being beyond mid-table. Hopefully the new signings will fill me with a bit of optimism again but I have a feeling they aren't going be of the quality we need or want.

I don't know what some people are on or these threads were sent before Altringham but a healthy relegation fight is on the cards (season over)
