Iam new to the Forum, but i have some real sad news for fellow Gasheads. Ben Hiscox, a life long Gashead died this morning in hospital. He played for Stoke Gifford FC, and had an accident on the pitch on Saturday colliding with the clubhouse wall and banged his head, after spending the last few days in hospital he took a turn for the worse last night and died in theatre. His parents are also true gasheads home and away and this must be a traumatic time for them.
My thoughts are with them at this terrible time, on a personal note Ben was a fantastic lad and has left all his fellow team mates and friends devastated. totally shocked by this, RIP mate.

Crazy news, known of him for years and played against him for Filton a few months back, was a very decent player.. RIP BEN!

Oh my god I only just seen this. In tears. Ben Hiscox was a great friend of mine and I am gutted at this news. Heartbroken. Believe me when I say the world has lost a truly unbelievable guy this morning.

I didn't know Ben but it sounds awful and a real shock. Thoughts are with his friends and family.
