Of course. There's only one way to eat an elephant. I'm just saying, at the moment it is small. Hopefully it will grow. This was not an anti group post.

If the majority tonight do not wish this to happen - then it won't :-) We will move democratically. So I wasn't confused. You have not merged. Yet.

On the subject of BRISA
The thought of a merger is for debate.
As with anything, it will be discussed and democratically decided if it is in the best interests of progress.
Even more reason to turn up tonight and engage in the debate.
7.30 PM The Wellington, Horfield - Have YOUR say. Ask YOUR questions. Air YOUR concerns.

I will still come along tonight as I have arranged it ,but I am slightly disappointed now to be honest. I didn't know what if anything ,would come out of the Welly group meetings, but I did not expect it to be in with the BRISA thing. My feeling at the moment is it will just become part of the latter, and maybe get swallowed up. Who knows. I am just not too comfortable with the BRISA aims, and yes I am a BRSC member. I also have reservations on a campaigning(possible)talk by a person who has put his name down for election as a SC Director. This is not why I came to the last meeting for. Of course I may have it all wrong, but that is the way I am thinking at the moment.

The name BRISA put me off at first and i have misconceptions, but if we can use it as a vehicle it may work. Anyway, either way, Everyone - come along and be part of things, maybe you can stamp your slant on things and we all progress as a result, if you don't take part you'll never know.

Whatever we democratically decide is the best way forward, don't let us take our eyes off the bigger picture; securing improvement in the running of our club and improved performances on the field.

Passionate opening from JTS.
We should not accept mediocrity.

SC egm being discussed.
Only 1 person feels better about BRFC after the EGM.
44 questions - 2 mins per question. No follow up questions were allowed.
DC came over well. Norburn left on footballing grounds.
Higgs said sorry, but without board there is no club. Nothing about review at all. No external presence at any review and Higgs sees no need for it. We will have a CEO at UWE. Tony Watola is effective CEO. Lambert money: money will trickle in and won't be ring-fenced. We won't reinvest money.
Tony W said we need 9000 fans to break even.

Tony W. No contingentcy plans for relegation.
Relegation to cost 1/2 Mil.
Higgs did not talk about UWE but passed it to Tony W.
DC will look after fitness.
Nick Higgs "the SC reflects the fans views"

Welly meeting now underway.
Are we singing bad managers or making managers bad?
Club recruitment of players being discussed. Background checks not being done?

Lack of overall strategy at Rovers.
Players we get have no sell on value.

Interesting discussion about what sort of questions are appropriate or relevant.
I wont post them here just yet, I will leave that to the group organizers to decide if we should publish them here.
I will say consensus is sought and the questions seem legit
