I see that Joe Jacobson has been released by Shrewsbury.
He reached the dizzy heights of captaining the Welsh U21 side whilst at the Gas but is form has obviously drop-off over the subsequent years.
At 27 he would add a bit of experience to our very small squad?

With Lee Brown signing I don't think he's a position we particularly need to be looking at atm.
And as you pointed out, he's a player whose career is going in the wrong direction. No from me.

No thanks. Attackers soon worked out that if they cut inside him his right leg
was just for standing on or committing fouls!

With our record with injuries it’s likely we will need a few replacements during the season. Throwing youngster in before they are ready doesn't help their confidence or the teams.
A few additional experienced players with the right attitude and sensible wages/length of contract could be needed if will fill the squad with Conference trialists.
