Call me stupid guys , but I'm still trying to work out what either " protest" group or otherwise will be able to achieve with the present BOD's in office. ? Unless they can get together many millions of ££'s to make the BODs an offer to buy them all out that they can't refuse. Realistically the board is not going to step aside, unless one or more decide they've had enough. What we are pressing for is a change in approach and attitude. An acceptance by them that they are the constant element in our decline; that they need new blood and an improved skill set. They must stop keeping us at arm's length, but communicate with, and trust, us. Now many may say that ain't gonna happen. But although outwardly they may keep up the arrogant face, behind the scenes things MIGHT change. We must keep banging on the door; it might just open a little! Total agreement.

Sorry KP, I fail to see any hostility here, just open debate. One poster mentioned a personal preference to the Unnamed group over BRISA and likened it to having a forum preference. No one has said anything negative at all about either forum on this thread. Please don't make problems where there were not any. Both forums can co-exist quite happily and many people use both. This is about how people feel is the right way to improve the water poor state we find ourselves in, not what forum we like. I would add though, that any group is going to be seen as divisive and will cause splits and infighting. No matter how good the intentions of the people or how hard they work. And no matter what their aims and objectives are. You only have to look at the SC. To some they are brilliant. They help fans to away games, the organize the 50/50, they have fans directors on the board they work hard, love the club and want whats best for BRFC. how great is that?! To others they are rose tinted suck ups who roll over so the BOD can tickle their tummy. I don't have the answers. I can only assume the comments above are mentioning mine, and I fail to see how I created hostility. I made it very clear it is a PERSONAL PREFERENCE... I don't think there's anything wrong with having one. There are ways I wish to support the club right now and there are ways that I am as a person and i have a preference! Can't see the problem! Harley, If I had something to say to you directly then I'd have done it by personal message mate. My point was that this place is more active with the OF than Gasheads and that it is personal choice, whether it be longstanding friendships or just being in a comfort zone. It was certainly not directed at yourself mate. My post was not intending to cause offence but more to point out that the other forum is seen as cometeky full of board bashers, it does have it's share with me one of them but I see no reason why we cannot use both. I felt very much an outsider over there and got into a few heated exchanges but I have found most are as reasonable as any other. I would love , for once, for ALL of us to be able to garner the support we have in the common aim of getting OUR club to engage in a meaningful dialogue but I cannot see it happening if we are split. I am sorry if you took this personally as it was not directed at you at all

this isn't about forums mate. Its about pressure groups. As I have said before, this forum is just a forum. A place for people to talk. It will not play host to any kind of pressure group. Hi Ras
I'm not quite sure what you read into that? "closer understanding between two forum's personalities"? Are you suggesting I'm criticising either? Your reaction is a bit defensive.
I'm all for differences and I'm also all for people understanding the differences and working together. At the end of the day we all have one aim - as does the formal company which is Bristol Rovers. It is the lack of bridges which is causing the issues.
Guess I might get banned from here if that is how you think. How should I say sorry and apologise to you?
No one should be banned for having an opinion and expressing it appropriately. Nothing to apologize for.
