Elliott Frear confident Gosling can follow him in bouncing back from Exeter City releaseBy Exeter Express and Echo | Posted: June 11, 2014 By Simon Larkins Elliott Frear says he is confident former teammate Jake Gosling can be a success next season following his release from Exeter City. Having been let go by City himself last summer, Frear certainly knows the situation Gosling finds himself in currently. However, he comes into this summer on the back of one of his best seasons in football. He featured for Sailisbury City 45 times in the Football Conference last campaign and was also named as England C’s player of the year. I doubt it as their chairman is cutting investment, also i cant imagine a young player with any ambition chosing a village team over the gas whatever they were paying

Recent press reports have suggested that they have already outbid a couple of League 2 clubs for players so I wouldn't read too much into "cutting investment". Smaller group of players but I would think they can outbid a lot of people if it is for someone they really want.
