Well, that was extremely comfortable viewing considering how important it was.
All the cars round here have been spammed with ads for Wembley Coaches.

They got what they deserved. Treated us like sh** up there. Minimal tickets. No pubs for Gas. Ridiculous questions when Rovers fans tried to buy home tickets.
They were woeful over the two legs. The only time they were in the tie was when the ref let them. They played like a village team and I think they'd have struggled on the downs today.
Best team over two legs won. Mans and Linesy were superb. Parkes and McChrystal were rocks throughout. Matty T was immense.
Dam get in! water off Forest Gimps!!!!!

Just got home! Well that really was men vs boys, play like that at Wembley and I fancy we'd romp it. Well done gas, "we've got our rovers back" was my fav chant of the day. Great atmosphere, bring it on! Few drinks now I think . . .

Surely nobody but Blisset will make way for Harrison, if anybody does make way?
Whilst perhaps he could have done better with his shooting Gosling was, surprisingly, good in both games.

Bliss done a good job today. However, he doesnt carry the goal threat of Harrison. So its Ellis for me

I know Linesy was immense over both games, as was everyone else, but Taylor has to be the man of both legs. Scored the first, set up the first today, scored the second today. What a player.

Just listened to DCs interview, and I have never felt so confident in a manager.

Also don't forget Lee Brown. Set up both of Taylor's goals in both legs. Also he recycled possession well to give Taylor the time and space to play the ball into Lines. Our left side is such a solid unit with both Brown and Monkhouse defending and attacking together. They also understand each other's game so well now.

First of all let me say that was easily the best goal I've ever seen at Rovers...others might have been technically better, others might have (in the long run) been more important. But that was an absolute screamer of a shot to finish a great passage of team play. It calmed nerves on and off the field. It shattered Forest Green when they were beginning to gain confidence. At the moment it's second only to the final whistle at Wembley eight years ago as my favourite Rovers moment...it will pass it if we're ultimately successful this season. OK, got another glass of wine. Ready as I'll ever be. I think I'll be lonely in this thread.
I fly out to Perth a week Tuesday so there will be some company....vaguely considered trying to change it but it's a massive family commitment made over 18 months ago so that comes first. I heard Twentyman mention Perth gasheads at least once on the radio this afternoon...any of them on here? FOul you fecking prick of a ref tosser He did miss that but keeping the game flowing, not flinging yellow cards around and very fit.Doing well. Not a Tosser. Can't agree. Another in a long line who can't see the benefit of stamping their authority on a game early on by blowing for a few shirt pulls here and a few backing-ins there. Let Forest Green get away with everything before we scored (almost like he wanted them to get back into the tie). Can't wait to get back into League Two so I can moan about a slightly better quality of very poor referees....and don't get me started on the assistants...but that negativity should be for another day (and hopefully not 46 matchdays next season)...come on Rovers!

I thought Mans was awesome today! There were points where the midfield went missing today, and Mans piled the pressure on them to win the ball back! I think taking him off was a good call, we didn't need another Ellis situation!
Shame Leadbitter didn't come on today, he would of ripped their FB's a new one, esp Pipe!

There's just no weak spot in our team at the moment. I feel like we've peaked as a side at just the right moment, remember that we only got one point over two legs off FGR last year. It's our year. UTG.

Missed the game today but got all the updates from an English pub in Iceland. If FGR played anything like they did on Wednesday I thought they were a joke. Guthrie is top of the table for diving and getting free kicks according to Conference scene and that just about sums them up. Grimsby are well beatable.

UTG. Whilst the league positions might not be the same, the atmosphere on and off the pitch feels a lot like 2007...here's to the same result!

Quality moment when Nick Higgs unrolled his "We Are Going To Wembley" banner from box 1 towards the end of the game. Hope we can finish the job at Wembley and Higgs gets a spot of recognition for backing the manager this season.
