With Harrold going (thank god), we now need to replace him with an experienced target man IMO as we have a lack of experience and only one target man left (Brunt), who is injury prone.
Someone like Benson would be ideal but will not be easy to find someone like him.
How about Charlie Sheringham?(just been released by AFC Wimbledon), Spent the end of last season on loan with Salisbury where he seemed to link up well with our very own, Jamie White.

Another name in the ring... Gary Alexander Good shout,always liked him and a real leader on the pitch.all our signings so far are um,vertically challenged which I hope means a on the deck brand of football but some height will be needed in the games hat were not romping 6-0 lol. |

Is this a joke thread? seriously. We have proved unable to bring the best out of a perfectly capable target man, are happy that he is gone, now want to bring in a .....target man? Ours has just gone up 2 levels and we need to bring in a replacement who is supposedly going to a decent job!

So, Harrold is crap, get relegated, get rid and bring in someone cheaper!
The solution was to bring in a wide player that could cross the bl00dy ball to Harrold, Beardsley etc.

Firmly believe we will go for Sheringham as he had a good partnership with White last season so makes perfect sense. Wise move moving Harold on as can get 3 signings for his wages

A decent penalty taker but other than that, pretty much bog-standard fodder. Far better out there and I trust DC to find a suitable replacement. TBF, it shouldn't be too hard. |

Crawley from lg1 have just signed one of our players. He will be against Wolves and the mighty teds next season but not good enough for us?

79, we do have a problem with the real world , but no more than any group of fans, if you look at most of the boards for any team ..........we all spout the same rubbish, we all should be a manager ( if it had not been for a total lack of experience ), player ( if it had not been for my dodgy knee ) or chairman ( if it had not been for the lack of cash )and we certainly know better than each other ! Great fun and all part of lifes rich tapestry. Oh and most are mad as a box of frogs. :0)

Even mansell was instructed to say that in his second interview! Preparing us for another season of failure. Where's the loud noises, training starts soon, I feel underwhelmed atm. |

We are chasing a striker from Cambridge city called Adam Marriott who was their top scorer last season. He has already turned down Stevanage apparently.
