I assume you don't rate the smaller Iker Casillas then?
Casillas compensates for being slightly shorter than the average goalie by being insanely talented and one of the best goalkeepers in history. Unfortunately, even that Asian bird singing the Will Puddy song would struggle to justify him being our no. 1 using that logic.

And theres my point. Puddy isn't a top keeper so never will compete higher than league 2 IMO, what he is though is a very good conference keeper and people write him off for his height when there are smaller keepers who have gone on to be one of the best in their position. Instead of finding faults, praise him for doing a good job between the sticks and being ahead of the experienced Mildenhall on the team sheet.

I don't particularly rate Mildenhall either. Puddy is the better keeper but he always has a few nervy moments a game under high balls. Puddy is a good shot stopper but he really needs to improve in the air - need I remind you of Dover away?

We are going overboard with the love in for Puddy now. Good shot stopper? Which shots were those then?. He has had jack sh** to do in every game he has played. Nowhere near as good as Mildenhall. . I thought he was our under 10's keeper when I first saw him.
