It is unusual that during this transfer window, there doesn't appear to be many "leaks" from within the club as to who we are after.
Under previous managers, it seemed like half of our signings were known before they were officially announced.
Still a few positions that need strengthening yet so wouldn't be surprised to see a player from any position come in but a new winger would potentially excite me the most.

As frustrating as it is I think its about bloody time the rumors from people at the club stopped.
Too much stuff gets said to fans about things we really shouldn't know about.
Conjecture and rumor makes us look unprofessional. The club need to vastly improve how it talks to us fans. But conflicting titbits from various "sources" are not it.

2 - WINGERS
We could also do with:
1 - GK
1 - LB
1 - ST
Assuming Smith is staying I'd say the only position we defintely do not need strengthening is right back because we also have Lockyer who can cover.
So that hasn't narrowed it down much has it?!

I think there are fewer leaks because myself and others have openly criticised the main leakers and they have been warned.

You can't blame a fan for posting up stuff he has heard in good faith. As Dins alludes to, some of the stuff that comes out seems to stem from some very senior levels. That's no way to run a business. I do wonder if some of the boardroom stuff was just made up to out the moles. |

So who dreamt up that the club have warned the leakers? How would they know who they were? They are still looking for Twerton Twitters for what he said about a member of club staff. Still why let the truth get in the way of a load of garbage.
And best of all, who cares what three or four keyboard warriors think on forums? You do sometimes really get ahead of yourselves. The various forums are for people to express themselves and quite right to. But those of us on forums only represent ourselves. W e certainly don't represent the fan base.
How many people express opinions on forums? Probably about 200 max. Now what percentage of the fans is that?
200/6400 = 3% . Not really representative is it. Just get on and say what you think. It's not a popularity contest. It's for opinions. And long may it continue.
