Obvious talent but how many games would he have been fit enough to play with his injury record? 5? 10?

If he has not bothered to turn up for pre season training, good riddance I say!
Good player or not if he was offered the chance to prove his fitness and has not been bothered he is better off elsewhere as he is obviously not interested in us as a non league side.

I'm a bit disappointed if this one is true. Probably would have been in the top 5 players in this division but we only want players at this club who actually want to be here.

Realistically guys he was not going to sign with us in The Conference, two other league clubs are after him and are prepared to take the risk - we save money and get players who want to play for the club!

If anyone thinks our current squad has enough quality to challenge at the top end you need to visit a psychiatrist immediately.
OK Gow hasn't signed but we desperately need someone of that calibre or we'll just be a team of 'triers'.

Not overly bothered tbh.
Quality player but we are where we are (partly) because we've spunked too much of our wage budget each season on injury-prone journey men.
I wouldn't have given his ankles much chance of surviving a season on the quality of pitch we'll likely be playing on every other week on our travels next season.
He'd have also been on a fair whack for the Conference - can use the money he would have been on more wisely IMO.

I thought we were going to assess Gow during the pre-season to see if he was fit enough to be offered a contract. Could be he did not fancy a tough training regime! At some stage we all seemed to have moved the goal-posts to assume that he was definitely coming to us. Did DC provide a sound-bite for this change?

Bonus £100k into the BRFC black hole.might spend 1/2 of it but doubtful.Cant see us getting anyone else ability wise and would have liked him here,big risk for someone else to worry about now though.
