I've been a way for a while but now feel ready to think about this season. It's time to put money where my mouth is. Much more from me later on a soon to be created ground breaking thread. I've spent a fortune repairing my bus since the end of last season. So here's my thoughts and pledges FFS members. Ground breaking goal Win the league: £300; stretching goal promotion via play offs £200; realistic play offs £100. Security goal Top ten £50. More than happy to show my support and I do hope that £300 leaves my account at end of season. If it costs me only £50, I'll be disappointed. I'll be back some time later with my more detailed ground breaking thoughts been wondering where you've been rich, things looking pretty good so far in the squad. Lots of people at the bus stop. As for your pledge, top stuff mate. I'm so confident that we will make it to the playoffs at least and so it makes sense I send money now not at end of season. Why wait until end of season. We need the investment now. My end of season pledge £100 will be in FFS account tonight. Bus is ready and waiting. Exciting times! Let's stick together and support the team get out of this league.

Rich, i don't know what to say! or do! I don't want to take advantage of your generosity, i applaud you and i respect you, you're one of the most optimistic positive Gasheads ever. But i won't just take your money, please think about a while my friend.

Jon, thanks for your considered response. You are right to encourage me to think about what I am doing.
You will know that last season I enquired through you how much it would be to sponsor a match ball. As it happens it was too much and still is. My thoughts on putting money up front was tied to making a pledge for the end of season. A season when we need to support the club more than ever. There is no point making a pledge if you have no intention of paying it. I chose to support bristol rovers when I was eleven and right now the club needs support and ii am doing what I can do to make a small difference.
The club need the money now and my small amount might help. If we don't get to the play offs I lose £100. More worryingly if we do better it may cost me more!
I thought about it and it's the right thing to do for me and for the club. I'm comfortable and know that you will spend it well. Keep up the great work. The club need fans like you and the many others that make this club so very special.

Let's focus on the team, the football and our future.

Rich you're so right, no matter what our opinions our club needs us, now as much as ever. I wanna thank you for not only the amazing £100 advance payment but also for being the first to pay their "GASBILL" . I hope others see you as the fine example you are and pledge their "GasBill's" when the time comes.
I can only thank you from the bottom of my heart. Bless you.
Together we're all stronger.
Let's do this Gas.

I haven't anything to pay yet, cause we have not been given a penalty, which does surprise me given the standard of refereeing we have so far seen.

I owe another deep seas diver.
Is it possible to have the pledge list more easily accessible as it takes a while to sift through the thread.
Thanks mods.

The Beards goal yesterday has cost me my 1st £5 to pay on my gas bill, will pay up on payday Thursday and let's hope he gets my gas bill nice and high over the coming games.
