I have not gone through this entire thread but i wonder exactly how much money will be raised if we end up as champions. There was some serious cash pledged on this early doors. Will be good to get a forecast prediction and maybe we can get a few more pledges in.

I just discovered this thread! Incredible, I read it from start to finish and it brought a tear to my eye. I'm off to sign up for FFS.

To get extra money for the ffsc or for anyone who wants to put a tenner towards the draw just sign up for the ffsc in memory of someone or on behalf of a son or daughter and you get an extra chance in any draws ffsc does and sorry Jon but you get to put a extra pound in aswell .

Bishopston - I have had some problems using PayPal, mainly of my own making - I signed up a long time ago but used a different email account than I do now, then I forgot my password and it's proved tricky to resolve this with them.

There are a few who don't use pay pal. I am always happy to meet someone with the cash and transfer the money on their behalf or pass it directly to Jon.

So it looks like I will owe £200 when we win this league. Can we go up as champions of this league? Who would have thought it in the close season. Not many. We are in a great position - win our games and the money leaves my pocket. Am I confident? Yes. If we win next week - I pay up!

Rich if we go up as champions how much will you have paid out in total this season ? ( include all your pledges) I havent checked. I know I promised 300 if we were champions. I paid 100 earlier this season because I was certain of play offs. I might have promised something else beyond final positions. I'll need to go back through my promises a little later to check. |

I've been thinking. What's the point in waiting a whole season before I put pledged money into the FFS? We need the money quicker than that. I need to be much more brave. So my thoughts for first ten games. Hope it gets us off to a good start. So here goes: Ground breaking top of the league goal £50; Stretching goal in play offs £25; realistic goal top ten £15; security goal below top ten ( how sad this would be) £10. Where were we after 10 games. I owe something here? |
