duck me, did someone edit kingswoodpolak's pledge?! Nope. That was all him. He said we'd be relegated so I'm not sure if he seriously thought it would come through!

As for my GAS BILL, I pledge: £1 for every goal scored by a player who's shirt (home or away) is sponsored by the FFSC. £2 for every win in cup games Does anyone have a list of the players the FFSC sponsored? Jon the Stripe ParrotShame the cups didn't go well but I'll include the play-offs as cups and add £8.

Mehew Magic's brother bumped into my partner at my partner's workplace. We live in Leeds and when my partner asked him where he was from, him not having a northern accent, he said he was from Bath. I don't know what possessed her to say this, but my partner said 'you're not one of those Bristol Rovers fans are you?'!!!! Long conversation about our mutual obsessions followed! As a result of this, MM's brother very kindly gave me a free copy of the excellent 'Away the Gas' book (which I highly recommend, by the way!). I told MM that I would come up with a pledge in his and his brother's honour, so I will donate £2 for each chapter of the book. (£20 in total) Will sort this in the next couple of days.

Dammit, if MM had been a proper writer like Tolstoy we'd all be Dam rich off the back of that pledge. Curse you Meyhew Magic!

Half tempted to join this but what evidence is there that this mystical "Parrot" fella, as you all refer to him as, is not a Nigerian scam artist? I mean if he was a trustworthy member of the avian kind like a sparrow or blackbird I wouldn't hesitate. those African greys are no better than magpies or seagulls in my eyes.
