Hello Fellow Gasheads This is my first forum post. I am not a regular to the mem as my username suggests I am not local.
I have been a gashead for a few years. To give an idea, my first game was at Eastville and was asked by the radio Bristol during halftime who I thought should be the next manager. My response.... Bobby Gould ( I had no clue but that's what the person asked before me said).
Whilst at best I can be described as a part time fan, I do try to get to our away games in the south east.
Like many of you, I am really disappointed at the position we are in, I recognise that until one of us saves up lots of pennies the board we have is what's financially backing the club and that's how it's going to be unless a crazy sheik decides he wants a skrill premier team, so personally I am thinking about what I CAN do to help.
Bizarrely enough, I don't think I've been as fired up pre season for a long time. How will we do this season?... No clue. What I've seen is that there seems to be no correlation between how big a club or how good the team is on paper to final league position.
I for one love this idea Jon, so my pledge is £1 a point and double it if we go up. Either going to cost me about a tenner or £180. I am hoping the latter.
Before I sign off this rambling nonsense a big thank you to all of you for keeping us exiled Gasheads informed.
Up the Gas

This is a great idea IMO and is the main reason I've finally got around to joining any of the various forums, now or in the past. I am going to pledge 5 of the queens english pounds for every goal that the Bearded wonder and Brunty score during the regular season and 10 pounds for each and every goal either scores in any stage of the play-offs.

Let me get this right Thomas, you're gonna pay £50 if Rovers play in Blue and White Quarters at home this season? If so, sir i take my hat off to you as a Mega Gashead. Not being greedy, but is that "per game"?

A mortgage means I can't afford as much as I used to but stick me down for £1 for every headed goal we score from a corner.
