Torres ain't the answer to anything. Chile have been good mind but not spectacular by any means. I thought we looked more dangerous vs Italy than Chile have tonight.

Methinks Spain have failed because they have been so successful recently ...forgotten how to win when they're not already winning... Spain were very Punchless upfront. They play lot's of pretty triangle football, but it get's you nowhere without a cutting edge. Also, if you play a high line against them you compress their midfield ,which in turn upset's their rhythm and tempo, i lost count of the misplaced passes they made especially in the first half. Both of their center halves look very clumsy and awkward when you have a pacy forward running at them. Both Holland and chile did their homework and exploited this weakness. |

Thought for a minute there Mexico would hold on and we'd be down to the bare bones in terms of European teams left in it. Cheated though, so I hope they get paid back for it.

Not impressed with the Dutch and only got out of jail when they switched to all out johnny ward hoofball! Where jw leads the best follow.
