Whilst not the best preseason game so far, I'm not sure what game grayraydon was at.
He says not a great deal of action. I saw at least 3 and possibly 4 of the best saves we are likely to see all season from the Mangoes goalkeeper. It was two hard working teams, and could have been better, but again it achieved all it set out to do, and if it hadn't been for their keeper we would have had five or six.

As I said, both keepers made a couple of cracking saves, but from where I was it wasn't the most action packed game at all, 3 or 4 saves over 90 mins doesn't make it all action but perhaps I spent too much time drinking and chatting and missed it all.

Just got back after a few post match pints of natch, reasonable match, both keepers made a couple of cracking saves, not a great deal of action though, typically pre season game really, thought leads had a decent game and ajala showed a decent touch on a couple of occasions, and a bit of pace but overall just nice to be back watching a match, especially while holding an ice cold cider, bring on the season. On another forum they say that Ajala was crap And on Facebook, about 90% saying that they rated him, and to me that's one thing that's great about football, 10 people can watch a game and all come away with differing opinions.

Did anyone get the attendance? Considering we were let in the corner gate I expect it would be difficult to get an accurate figure? It was busy though, definitely a boost for mangos.

There was a Mangoes official sat near us who said their record attendance in recent times was 2200. I forget who he said it was against. I asked him what he thought the crowd was last night, and he said over 1500.
Must say I guessed somewhere round the 2000 Mark, but I don't go often enough to make a proper assessment.n

I was chatting to a friend who played for mangoes and he was told there was 1700 there, which is brilliant I reckon, and will help them out no end for the season.

For those who didn't get to chat to NH last night - report from the Gas List:-
Nick was at the game last night and spoke to a few of us before the game in the bar. He has recovered from the decision and has had discussions with his legal team and appears to be of a mind to appeal the decision. He appears bullish in the clubs chances but all I will say is that if his legal team are so confident, perhaps they will mount a no win/no fee appeal. He did tell us that Sainsbury would not be able to give any evidence in any such appeal and there are two points of appeal and we only need to win one of those points to overturn the verdict in our favour. Perhaps, a fellow Gashead who was also present could confirm the finer details. Nick confirmed he was told the decision on Friday but could not discuss this with anyone for fear of a short spell in the slammer for contempt of Court. * s * He found it particularly difficult on Saturday when he was sat next to BB at Salisbury as BB was asking a lot of questions. Nick did not avoid any Gashead’s questions and as far as I could see there was no “idiot” having a go at him.

As a director and major shareholder of the the company, why couldn't Barry Bradshaw be informed?

Well if I were an officer on a ship which was about to run aground I would want to know in advance if the Captain had already been informed.

Is there some sort of Mangos/Rovers affinity? I get that feeling. I know some of their old directors were at Rovers but does it go deeper than that?

I think Blissett is going to be a useful option this season, his unorthodox styles makes him an easy target for critics but it probably also makes him really awkward to defend against.

Can the club take independant legal advice on thier own legal advisors before wasting more money we can't afford? I can just see our present legal advisors will say there are strong grounds for appeal on two counts, firstly, they'll want to try and save face and so wont want to admit the judge was right and they were wrong, secondly, they'll see another chance to have another good payday!

Their Chairman is a shithead and vice chair used to run Almondsbury before they folded. Sec is also a shithead so don't see any board connections there.
