Mitchell Page can be a right handful. He was one of my young lads at Potterswood years ago.

We have I'm afraid lost a very very talented U16 to Fulham, Isaac Pearce, who would have been a first-year scholar this season. Unfortunately, again, the club fails to inform its supporters about these youngsters when they leave. The club will get some compensation for him from Fulham.

You could turn it into a positive and underline how well the club are doing in producing good talent. Perhaps praise the staff that helped to develop him - who do it for hardly any money !

So why didn't you in the first place - sorry had not heard of him but yes we do seem to be continuing to source and develop youngsters that go on to bigger clubs.

The club don't seem to mention anything hardly apart from the first team which I think is a shame really. It would be interesting to keep tabs on potential talent coming through. Half of the players you only ever hear of when they sign the first pro contract and never hear about them since. Sometimes they mention u18 or reserve games on the morning they are being played and the odd match report after but nothing of note really. I've looked a few times for other sites that would have fixtures and results on but to no avail.

Not saying much. Even the book barn looks better than the mem. And they stock better quality books. Trololol would have been a super book if some lazy arsed salad dodger had contributed as he promised

Thought the 'young uns' did okay last night, against a much physically stronger Paulton Rovers side.
It was a case of men against boys at times, but good experience for them I'm sure.
Broome looked quite sharp in the first half.

Agree with roverstillidie. I thought they battled hard, but we really did gift them three of the goals.
Paulton brought some fancy idiot with multicoloured boots on in the second half. Was it Russell Osmonds son? Whoever he was he was a complete fool. Trying to be cool and making a complete idiot of himself with needless fouls and dishing out instructions to his team mates, even though they were far better than him.
But yes, it really was men against boys, and I'm not so sure it was a good idea.

The guy obviously thought he was far better than he actually is...
Just hope the Rovers kids confidence wasn't dented too much. Suppose it stands them in good stead when they return to playing against opposition in their own age bracket....
