Out on the wiley, windy Mem The pitch was nice and green You had your boots on, and we sang Irene Too hot, (it was August). How could you miss it, When we needed to score first? I hated you. I loved you, too. Bad dreams in the night. They told me it was three points down the drain Leave behind my wondering, wondering, wondering if You'll miss. Oh please, Matty. Just shoot. It's easier to score, Just get it on goal. Don't miss. Oh please, Matty. Just shoot. It's easier to score, Just get it on goal. Ooh, FGR, in the playoffs What are we gonna do? A pass from Brown, you brought it down, And ghosted through (we loved it too) And you passed it in past Charlie Clough. And we're on our way to Wemberly, Wemberly. But now I wake up in the night. What can Marcus do to put it right. I'm still wondering, wondering, wondering if You'll miss. Oh please, Matty. Just shoot. It's easier to score, Just get it on goal. Don't miss. Oh please, Matty. Just shoot. It's easier to score, Just get it on goal. Ooh! Let's have it. Just tuck the ball away. Ooh! Let's have it. Just tuck the ball away. You know it's true, Matty! Don't miss. Oh please, Matty. Just shoot. It's easier to score, Just get it on goal. Don't miss. Oh please, Matty. Just shoot. It's easier to score. Kate Bush gives me the raging horn. Ah so it's not just me then cool as, just something about the woman, for some reason wendy refuses to sing wuthering heights in bed. Did you see the music awards a few years back when john lydon got an award, he likes kate too

so youve wrote off easter then? I don't rate him from what I've seen so far. If I was manager he'd be on the bench and he'd get his chance again and hopefully take it soon enough anyway. Hmm Easter not too sure, home to Cambridge and away to Carlisle on the Monday, bound to rain so yes i will probably write Easter off

Easter and Harrison all day for me, Taylor wont get the 5 chances a game he needed to score last season, in league two chances are not as easy to come by as we seen the quality of the two CBs for northampton.

That has little to do with the quality of Northamptons cbs, more to do with our hoof approach on that day. All of our strikers should benefit from service from our wingers once the team figures out how to use them effectively. On Northampton, Taylor and Harrison had 1 chance each, some might say Ellis was a simpler chance? They both failed to execute what should have been goals.

Taylor had an open goal! Have you played the game? If so, watch the replay and put yourself in each position. Personally, I would take Ellis' chance as an easier one for me. They are both very good opportunities to score but Matty didn't have an open goal once the little second touch took it away from him since big guy was just about there. On his left foot, slightly wide, it came to him by surprise. Ellis was a planned chance and he had time, strikers dream gk in no mans land, simple lob. I think Matty gets more stick because a) someone has to b) he misses more chanced and c) he's not as popular.

Ellis was at full stretch trying to get a steeply dropping ball on the half volley to lift it over the keepers head. The keeper was closing him down as was the centre back breathing down his neck. EH did exactly the right thing it just didn't work out for him. If his leg was 2 inches longer or he'd been 2 inches closer to the ball we'd be talking about what a great goal it was now. Doing the right thing and a move not working out for you is not the same as totally and utterly mucking something up.

I've watched it over and over. Scored that same goal loads of times. Edit. Ellis should have scored, he completely fluffed his lines and he probably knows it. He is getting away with it because of Taylor's miss. It wasn't steep, he had time, he had the option too. Easy chance.
