It does make a difference when you got to watch the football and it's played on grass rather then a ploughed field.
I can remember when we beat Accrington Stanley a few years back 7 0 at the end of the season, they reported us to the FA because the entire pitch was brown, hardly a blade of grass anywhere. Now look at it!!!

Good work from Eric again.
Can't help but think that the very good playing surface we have now certainly helps us with our style of play now, would we be able to play like we do if we still had the rugby playing on it every other week, I don't think so, so that begs the question, was that a major factor in how sh**e we were for years or was that strictly to do with the poor managers and players?
