First game is at home tomorrow against Borehamwood.
Who plays for Borehamwood? None other than Jamie Lucas.

Might not please our Grimsby supporting friends, I'm sure Paul Hurst said Bliss 'wasn't available' at this time!

Can only be good for him and us. Hope they give him game time. He needs to play to improve.

Good move! Hopefully he comes back in good form. I wonder if this opens the door for a DC target to come in this afternoon or early next week?

Clearly wasn't part of his immediate plans but I think there is a footballer in there. He was immense at Kidderminster.

Top guy I'm sure he'll be missed.

Istm he would give us something that we don't have. But I guess DC doesn't want it.

We have 4 strikers in Easter, Taylor, Harrison and Bodin. If Bliss is out on loan getting game time and we don't have the services of 1 of the above he should be match fit to come back to. Good move all round.

Mistakes like this is what managers are remembered for. What an odd post. 1) Debatable whether it's a mistake - personally I think not 2) I doubt we'll look back on DCs tenure here and pick out Bliss joining Tranmere on a month loan as his most memorable/defining moment Enjoy the rest of your afternoon though Nathan.

Mistakes like this is what managers are remembered for. SARCASM? If it is then I must apologise. But even my sarcasm detector which is normally pretty good hasn't detected even a slight hint of sarcasm in this post.

Good move all round. I honestly forgot that we had Bodin in the place tbh and was hoping that Bliss going out on loan was a precursor to us getting someone a bit more experienced in on loan. Hope he does well up there, I'm a fan of Bliss and would like to see him back in the quarters one day.

Good move for both sides IMO. Hopefully he bags a few and forces himself into contention for a starting place.

Good move for Bliss to get himself some game time. When he signed we were told by our Manager he was one for the future. I for one look forward to seeing him in league two for us this season. As has been said by some astute posters on here he offers something that the likes of Harrison, Taylor and Easter do not. Unfortunately for a lot of our supporters that future was half a season in the Conference and they want rid of a young player bought by the club for the future. Nothing I have seen from Bodin so far would convince me that he will ever be any good in the quarters and if I remember correctly he is on a three month contract. I for one cannot see him pulling up any trees in league two.

To be fair to nailseamark, he'd stated his support for Blissett before the Tranmere move. Personally, I think it is good for all parties, but it also signifies (perhaps) that we are not looking to go the arial route and play the ball into the feet of our strikers.
