Chapman 5 worried about lack of communication with defence Clarke 7 Good solid game, shows a bit of inexperience at times
Parkes 8 Rock solid in defence showed Gash/Akinde how to use their strength several times Lockyer 8.5 showed why he is a better centre half than full back Leadbitter 7.5 excellent game till forced off injured Clarke 9 Showed what he can really do,the Ollie we have seen as a kid Lines 8 took more control the longer the game went on Sinclair 8.5 worked his socks off,is he a wing back? doubtful Brown 8.5 took goal well and looked back to his best Easter 7.5 looking better as his match sharpness returns Harrison 7 not his best game but took some brutal treatment from Barnet, looked injured when he limped off

Chapman 6 certain parts of his game assuring other parts not.
Leadbitter 7 Looking very improved with pace to burn wing back is his natural position. J. Clarke 8 solid and assured. Thrives in the battle. Lockyer 9 he will play a lot higher level. Fearless, strong and combative. Parkes 8 strong and assured needs to improve his long range passing. Brown 8 Great goal from Mr consistent.
Sinclair 8 all action and adjusted well to wing back role. O. Clarke 9.5 MOM one of his best midfield performances in a long time. Ran the show. Lines 7 2 assists good display esp last 20 mins.
Harrison 5 not his day worked hard looked leggy. Easter 8 Again worked his socks off and took his goal well
Subs: Gosling 6 still improving with every game. Taylor 7 great impact took goal well. Bodin 6 some good touches did not look out of place.
Crowd Amazing as always Ref 7 thought he had a reasonable game Barnet 6 couple of things didn't go their way with parkes handball and bad miss second half. Keep akinde quiet and they look average.

A really good response to the thread this week with 19 posters giving their ratings. Only the play-off final last year got more. Having not gone to the match this week its great to read all of your comments and I'm sure many others appreciate the opinions of those at the games throughout the season.
What a turnaround for Ollie Clarke this season. At the end of last season, he had the lowest season rating in the squad (White and Brunt had lower but had left). Now he's top of the season averages at this early stage.
His score of 8.8 is also a very high score, even for a Man of the Match performance. Only four times was it bettered last season. McChrystal in goal at Wrexham (9.0), Sinclair home to Gateshead (8.9), Parkes at home to Altrincham (8.9) and Lines in the play-off semi home leg (9.2).
Again it was a very high score for the starting XI average of 7.59, only bettered in the play-off semi home leg (7.73)
Chapman 6.0
Leadbitter 7.6 J. Clarke 7.9 Lockyer 8.4 Parkes 7.6 Brown 7.7
Sinclair 8.2 O. Clarke 8.8 Lines 7.4
Harrison 6.0 Easter 7.8
Subs: Gosling 6.7 Taylor 6.9 Bodin 6.6
Crowd 7.4 Ref 6.3 Barnet 4.1, not sure whether to continue with the name their MotM

Top job again Unigas, keep up the good work.
I often look at some posters marks and wonder if they were at the same game as me, but it's really funny how it all comes together to give the right result. The law of averages really does work.
