5 Worlds & 2 Olympics = 7. Equals more than 6. So why did you say 6 earlier on. I didn't, weldone you though rather than just admit you're wrong you start on about something else. Tbone our very own spin doctor.

If you try google again there's a runner who you have missed... Why don't you show us all the gold medals you are talking about feel free, I've showed you Mo's medals, why not show us all? Otherwise you look even sillier.

My Nurmi facts are spot on. What about yifter? No they are not.And Yifter won the same amount of Golds in major events as Mo.So he has to be considered as well. They all made you look stupid in the Lyth debate, now you're getting close to or, you may have surpassed yourself.

I said Lyth wasn't good enough and he proved that to everybody. And I never had a clue how many medals Mo had won, you said at the start of this thread that it was 6. that is why I compared Yifter to him. You then realise you had made a mistake, and it was in fact 7.And promptly edited your original post. My facts about Nurmi are also correct he won 9 Golds and 2 silvers at Olympic level between 1920 and 1928.

Actually, to correct you all, the best athelete the UK has ever produced has to be Sir Steven Redgrave.....5 Olympic Gold medals spread over twenty years, in an extreme power event, while battling a debilitating illness.......

Pedalling a boat with an ice lolly stick is not athletics.Next bloody thing will be somebody claiming Phil the power Taylor is a bloody athlete.

WTF are you on about....rowing at the top level is one of the most demanding physical sports..." Athlete, noun, a person who is proficient in sports and other forms of physical exercise" Sir Steven Redgrave is an athlete, he just didn't do athletics (and by that I mean "as well as rowing", as he didn't want to show off...)
