That was not 532. It was 4312. Clarke is no marauding RB. We had absolutely no width whatsoever. THis was exactly how I saw it, 4 at the back, but with no right midfielder, found it a very strange set up, what exactly was Sinclairs position? That and the fact that we just don't ever seem to want to take a shot on, so bloody frustrating. After watching the Oxford game I think Sinclair position is "All Over The Dam Place". I presume he filled the same position this week too. Time to bring back Bliss and hoof the ball up to him and see what happens then?

Did the Accy fans get similar treatment to the teds from the police today? Any arrests on Glos rd? Any of their mob jump out of minibuses to attack our shirt wearing fans? No?

No idea, but I didn't realise Dawson played for them.

_______________Nicholls Clarke___Lockyer_______Parkes__Brown _______Clarke___Mansell__Lines _______________Sinclair ___________Harrison___Taylor Was the first half system. And it didn't work - at all. Yeah that seems right, but no it didn't work in the slightest. Clarke has been playing very well as part of the back 3 so far, really don't understand why the need to change that when Stu could've just dropped into right WB like before. The tinkerman returns

Not injured,a comment I got when at a meeting in Manchester last week, from a Tranmere coach was has Blissett ever played football? That's how much they rate him

Blissett did fairly well in the latter half of last season without setting the world alight. Still got promoted, which is more than Tranmere will manage this season.

Good question , maybe they were desperate to bring in a target man to offer something different in games where that was needed ?

They were looking for a target man and obviously watched him or had him recommended after 1 game, like Rovers did after the Kidderminster game only to find it was not his normal standard..Also they had a big clearout at the end of last season and were casting about for players and he must have come up on their radar,I didn't pursue the conversation because the meeting was about to start. All I can say is Neil Lennon will look favourably on an approach for Eaves on loan for a couple of months.
