A few thoughts from recent posts that may (or may not) be of interest: 1. The consortium exists. Can't reveal their identities but can confirm that there is no connection with Guernsey or America. 2. I assume BSS cannot say anything as he is on the board and NH has not fulfilled his obligation - yet - to inform the board and subsequently shareholders about an offer, unless there is an imminent announcement (I.e. tomorrow). 3. The offer is genuine and apparently reasonable but it is not being taken seriously by NH. I've no idea what the sums involved are. 4. Cant believe NH offered to resign as Chairman following relegation last year. He has to be in control of the process of selling his stake to recoup his investment, and can only do this, in his mind, by remaining as Chairman. 5. If - big if - he fails to take a proper offer seriously, and this all comes out in the public domain perhaps via a rebuffed consortium, then his position is probably going to become untenable. 6. The clock is ticking and NH has got to act pretty quickly, even if it is just a statement to tell shareholders, and fans via SC reps, what's happening. 7. Boardroom shenanigans often impact the playing side of things. Surely we need DC to be fully focused on team matters and the fans to be behind the team against Pompey, not against the board? Thank you Mr Laycock see you in Box 1 very soon!

at the end of the day whether this rumour is true or not there are certain people on this forum who like to divulge slight bits of information to make themselves feel like they are part of a clique 'in the know' and seem to get off on watching other people speculate. I bet they are behind the computer wank1ng themselves off at the thought of other people not knowing the information that they do. why don't they just grow up and tell us what they know because if they know something then the information is already in the public domain. Your post strikes me as being one of pique because you are not the one "in the know" and I find it insulting to the two posters who have divulged the information available. I hate divides amongst supporters, so hope that you will have the good grace to apologise to them WHEN they are proved reliable and correct, as I will to you if they are proved to be nothing less than rumour mongering. I am absolutely NOT goin to apologise to anyone thank you Mr Good Samaritan. Maybe you should read my previous posts an this thread then you'll understand that I am not questioning the integrity of the information or the poster, but rather the fact that they provide us with only a snippet of what they know and not divulge the source. I have said it once and il say it again, for these people know the information it must already be in the public domain.

No; try again: I am not a good Samaritan; just someone with good manners: I do not need to read your previous posts: " I bet they are behind the computer wank1ng themselves off at the thought of other people not knowing the information that they do. why don't they just grow up....." does enough to question the integrity of the ITKs, and is insulting. If the information is already in the public domain, why are you getting so worked up about it? Surely it would be easy for you to find it for yourself?

It's like that Kersal Flyers 'hit' from 1974; 'I know that she knows that I know that she knows... ' How would you know? I know. You know I know. I know you know I know. Just so you know...

The info was apparently leaked by somebody who attends Boardroom meets, if so, why would that info be in the public domain? if it was why has somebody posted a link to it already? Meanwhile on twitter @geoffdunford posted last night: Rumours that we may only own 1/3 of a watered down stadium at UWE seems less attractive than owning 100% of the £15m Memorial Stadium? @jamesmcnaramara is now following mike_Turl ??

IT would appear this has been a complete wind-up. If there was any truth in this consortium nonsense something would have surfaced by now.
We're Bristol Rovers. Nothing good ever happens to us, and the sooner we settle for being a small provincial club in the lower divisions of the F.l. the sooner we'll find some sort of inner happiness. The best we can hope for is. The occasional promotion and cup run. Any decent players we unearth will inevitably be sold on to balance the books.
It's just how it is for nearly every other club in the country. We're no different.

All of Bristol's billionaires are suspiciously silent on the matter as well.

Have you forgot your on the Rovers forum, as apart from our return to the Mem there's been little to celebrate ground wise since the North Stand was built at Eastville? No wonder fans are a bit specticle somebody is just messing us around w/o any real evidence, apart from a couple of apparently well connected posters.

Is there any chance Sexton is heading up a consortium to take over the club?
