Yeah, its painfully slow and may very well never happen.
But something was/is happening which whatever comes of it vindicates the much maligned posters who put their reputation on the line and posted it here.

Radio Stoke reports this morning that Port Vale been put up for sale as running the club is 'Affecting my health 'according to their Chairman.Not a job many people want I suspect.

So despite NH confirming that talks were happening and that confidentiality agreements were recently put in place people are still intent on denying anything is happening? Ok. Why let cold, hard facts get in the way of running others down..... |

You have to ask, "what has happened over the last 50 years to make this club better". I can remember the last 50 years and apart from owning a crappy ground, which is negated by the fact we are in the lowest tier of the football league, nothing really has made anything better. I started watching when we were getting 16000 on a regular basis. Most of the 10,000 that no longer go have probably passed away, so they never saw any great changes and I doubt if I will either

But it's happened before, so who's to tell what's different now? As NH said, there have been twelve offers, so maybe something like ten confidentiality agreements signed? Are the talks from the latest one still ongoing? I am in the 'I'll believe it when I see it' camp. |

I thought it was 12 "approaches" rather than actual offers? I'm assuming now that nothing will happen until the Appeal hearing tkaes palce so I would imagine all talks are on hold anyway?

By the way, how did you know they were from MSP? Did they wear lapel badges saying "Stop me and borrow one"? At the bottom of the stairs in the West Stand is a list of directors and their guests. If I can work out how to post the photo I took of it I'll put it on here. Actually they've stopped putting it there as miscreants were releasing private information :-) |

At the bottom of the stairs in the West Stand is a list of directors and their guests. If I can work out how to post the photo I took of it I'll put it on here. Actually they've stopped putting it there as miscreants were releasing private information :-) I noticed at the last home game that the "guests" notice was missing from the "guests bar" in the West Stand.
As it was there for all West stand supporters to read, it could hardly be considered to be private information.
