Maybe it was on the facebook appreciation page? Occasionally there used to be the odd gem on there. Although I actually quit that page last week as there's now way too much crap being posted on it since a couple of the mods moved on - you end up with a facebook feed clogged up with puerile rubbish. Not too unlike this thread in that respect I guess!

You can't deny that the standard of posting has slipped since we passed page 200 Hugo, surely! Up until that point there was still a small shred of optimism left in some of us. I feel somewhat crushed that the most excitement we can have now is listening to Nobby tell his Norwegian tales. |
