Lucase has just gone out on loan and I think Broom may have as well? Regardless we need to send out a team capable of beating Wycombe as the JPT is potentially a good money spinner plus we don't want our opponents having the upper hand for the following weekends league game. With everybody now fit there seems more than enough experienced players to start ahead of the kids unless it's just for a late run out when the games alreay won, or lost!

Poopegs must be a grown-up form of poosticks?

Both good answers. I guess because where I stand at the Mem I'm a bit biased as I've seen Leadbitter basically playing as a winger whenever he's been on the pitch...and if he's out of position in defence I can't really see. But as for the wingback defending, surely the opposite wingback should be in position to become the fourth defender if/when we lose position - for example, Leadbitter goes forward, Brown hangs back so if we lose it we've got three centre-backs (one of which comes across and covers at right back) as Brown is still there as left-back, and vica versa... i agree with you about brown covering leadbitter and leadbitter is such a good athlete he can make the wing back thing work but i reckon at our level you usually end up with a lee brown type manfully getting forward but hardly ever getting to the dead ball line where the most lethal crosses come from. remember robbie ryan trying to be a wing back?
