I think maybe you had left Dins.
I also heard it stated they had joined, but I asked again at the end of the meeting because I was concerned the merge with BRISA seemed to have just been pushed through by Mark and Bernard at that meeting without full agreement of all.
Mark, Bernard and Jon all clarified that they had not agreed to merge, but that they intended to meet and talk through a potential merger as it appeared that may benefit all parties.

So despite the vote to merge passed by a huge majority they decided not to ?
Thats a great democratic moment then

So despite the vote to merge passed by a huge majority they decided not to ? Thats a great democratic moment then The thing is Dins, what are we merging? We're just three men who wanted some sort of voice for the fans to voice their concerns over the terrible situation we find our club in. In my opinion, a meeting of fans had to be held quickly and questions for the BoD collated without delay, we have done that and we take those questions to the Q & A on Monday to press for what we hope are good, positive answers. And a better communication between club and supporters in the future. In fairness, we had a discussion with BRISA's representatives (?) after the last meeting at The Wellington, and later i was emailed, but i replied it was not for me at this time and wished them good luck. If you have been told differently please explain and as always i will reply in a truthful, respectful manner. Thanks

The wellie meeting had over 50 people, it was a nameless but important group of people. We collectively agreed that to take things forward we need one voice and an entity that had a focus, a name , a purpose etc.
We voted to merge the wellie group with brisa. I recently received info that the wellie group would be meeting again and brisa will be meeting. Surely after the vote this should be a joint meeting and a pooling of talent ?
I thought a voice for the fans was what you wanted, how come brisa isnt for you when its the exact thing you said you wanted on setting up the wellie meeting ? Im sure they can find a nice role for you.

I view brisa as being a gashead trade union. An Independent collective to represent our fan base. It will only become what its members make it. The likes of you and Mark could make a real difference through something like that. The club seem on board with it too.

Dins, i have declined a role, i do not have time to devote to BRISA, i work long hours and i run The FFS and my time and energy must go to the FFS Members who really enjoy what the FFS does.
I welcome a meeting with BRISA to help engage and share views, but i personally have not been contacted since my last email 3 weeks ago.I think BRISA should take up the start that Mark, Bernard and myself have made, they have a great constitution. I think many on here and in the wider Rovers support need to know more about BRISA, who they are? how the association is progressing? How they are going to instrument change?

Fair doos, you have a lot of followers so its good for its credibility that you habe been positive about it. Good luck with the ffs, its suh a shame what happened to the share scheme as at one point the club was getting £20000 a month. I believe the ffs has the potential to raise huge sums and as such its time well spent

Thanks Dins, i appreciate your comments, really hope BRISA are a success and i will follow their progress with interest. I'm always open to any questions and will always answer honestly, i put my head above the parapet running The FFS and hosting meetings gathering fan's thoughts prior to the Q and A and therefore am open to criticism and questioning at all times.
I will try to get along to the BRISA meeting to see the team they have assembled and see what plans they have, and i would also encourage as many others to do the same.
