Surely a director can invite whoever they want into Box 1 - doesn't mean to say they have to be a buyer or investor every time - Noel Edmunds for example - conspiracy, new ITK claims, drinking cultures claims, player rifts, punishment training - bring back Roadman I say !!! CS has admitted on Saturday they are talking to investors so do you seriously think a well known football "fixer" just happens to be making his (rumoured) second appearance just to watch an average Div 2 game???

Who was the bloke sitting in the middle of the front row of Box 1, wearing what seemed to my aged eyes on the Uplands Terrace a trendy flat cap and white George Ferguson type white shirt?

There were a number of guests in Box 1 on Saturday, Mr Samuelson wasnt on the list and I didnt see him.
Neither of these mean he wasnt there, I'd just be surprised that's all.
Having spoken to him before the FGR game I've been keeping an eye out ever since. Perhaps he had a disguise on :-)
Nigel Howe and Andrew Obolensky have also been to games, but not since May.

btw a well known Rovers fan was there on Saturday as the club he owned was without a game. Malicious rumours of him having £30 million in the boot of his car just in case were proven unfounded (by a crow bar and brute strength)

The budget ihas to be the same. People from the outside looking in see the crowds of 7,500 and think we have pots of cash. The reality is the money is paying off the loans. The club has so much potential in the correct hands, needs a complete overhaul from top to bottlom. totaly agree the club is ran by wankers lining their own pockets,if we hadn't of gone back up and had the hope of the uwe in the background Higgs would of been on his toes and if he was so confident of getting the uwe he would of used his own cash and not the clubs,no it won't effect the budget? What a load of bollocks,I would love to know what our budget really is....feel sorry for dc I bet he puts up with a load of sh** from the board and so frustrated that he's 3 or 4 signings away from a team pushing for top 3 where we should and deserve to be So let me get this right, you are saying we have a very low budget, far less than 2 years ago,is that correct? You then go on to say you would love to know what the budget is,something doesn't add up.Your statement is made on pure supposition and hearsay

We all know last season's budget was cut substantially then it was apparently cut again this summer, so whilst none of us know the exact budget it's far smaller than the likes of JW was allowed to spend/waste. Just to add salt to the wounds today's stats show we've the third highest attendances in Div 2 so this season.

Fact, assuming DC isn't lying and the newspapers haven't made up the latest Div 2 home attendance records?

He also said the year before that it was less than ward's.

That is different to what I have been told, add that to the fact that more players left than joined in the summer means he still had scope to bring in 3rd choice keepers from league 1 clubs, brilliant we are helping them improve? whilst our 2nd/3rd choice keeper is getting no experience at all.How are we meant to develop our own keepers when we chose the easy option of doing it for other clubs and at the end of the day getting no benefit from it.Discuss

I don't think we are paying all his wages Padstow, the parent club tends to supplement the wages so they get the experience, that's why they lend them out to very lower teams like us
When Harry Rednapp was Manager of QPR he once said in a press conference that they (QPR) pay clubs like ours to take players for first team experience
