Classic reaction from Ellis when he scored, got to hand it to him! What did he do? Strutted over to the away following, both hands on ears, waited for reaction. All good fun by the looks of it.

Strange game watched it at the mem, first half looked awful second half looked much better, set pieces a real disappointment, good atmosphere at the mem and great to get another win thanks to Tbone Taylor!

Keep the goals flying in.

Brilliant stuff! 19 Pts from a possible 24 on our travels this year. 4 pts from a possible 21 at home! I find those stats totally baffling, I can't recall another Rovers team being so poor at home but so good away. Perhaps if Ellis can get a couple next week he can take his confidence into the Carlisle game?

So does Easter start the game on the pine next week given Taylor and Ellis scored?

That game gave me a headache - everything was lopsided, the position of the stands, the pitch markings being pushed up towards the home end, so the action seemed a long way away. Atmosphere poor if only because our 550 were spread out over a large area - and then the game started.
Looking forward to seeing Steve K's comments (he makes sense when I can't). I couldn't quite work out why things didn't go so well in the first half (the pitch was giving me a headache anyway). We seemed second to the ball after a bright first five mins and there seemed to be a hole in our midfield but the fame was fairly piecemeal so hard to get a feel. Our defence was quite pressured under the long balls and CU got to a lot of the second balls which was worrying. Second half was better, even before MT's substitution. Would love to be a fly on the wall in the changing room because no one had high hopes at half time. "We're sh**, useless" etc. Still too many wayward passes but we got round them on the wings which helped change things and there was some extra creativity.
Thought Ellis got the shithead chant when he scored BTW but I am a bit deaf.

The mood was certainly very jolly at the time.

Great result, certainly did not expect that! Again, great away support. Glad it was Ellis, glad it was Matty.
Now, let's get it going on at home!!!!

I'd rather he just get on with his football. From his view point he probably is? Although you do wonder whether this week's fall out did spur him on to try and make a point, if so, I wish he'd do it more often (play well that is)
