i think to today showed why our results away have been better than home,,,,just as we were running out of ideas despite lots of the ball,,carlisle pushed forward and we caught them on the break,,just think our players are better suited to teams attacking them especially with no proper target man but maybe we can gain heart from todays win at home. credit to matt taylor he always seems to bounce back from missed chances or a poor game, hes a confusing player to me for sure!

A great team performance where I can't recent one player not putting in a decent shift, was that Lines best game since his return?

Did occur to me today that that was first time he had worked well with Sinclair as obviously they didn't need to last year. More of that please

I'm confused as well as that's the 3rd times that's been posted? Taylor's a real marmite player, if he'd been sub 5 mins before he scored he'd probably been booed off, as it was he left the field, rightly, as an hero and fans are texting 20men saying he's a fantastic player! As far as catching them on the break I did suggest this week that we tried to play as the away team on that basis! Surely there's another John Lewis type player we can pick up from somewhere?

Aside from the great performance and win, I found the minute's silence before the match today quite moving.
It was a brilliantly delivered speech from Nick Day and observed impeccably by all in the ground.

Does anyone know if it was written by Rovers or was something issued by the football league?

Does anyone know if it was written by Rovers or was something issued by the football league? Think it was nicks words, felt heartfelt and very him, not a politically corrected statement the FA would have probably issued. It's great he is back, so much a part of match day www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=167682330251773&id=100010300215661

Really enjoyed today. Somehow matches in the rain always seem good at the Mem. Both excellent goals - I think Bodin needs a credit for the pace of his breakout and the pass to Lines for the first one.
How many has MT got now? I reckon he'll get a good total again.

There's something wrong with Blisset IMO though. In the very short time he had, he failed to jump properly or to challenge for three balls he could have had. He was ironically cheered when he did touch it and were people singing, "If Blissett scores, we're on the pitch"? Maybe he's avoiding the ball for fear of making mistakes, but he's a shadow of the player who arrived here last season.

I have said Montano needs a proper go and not just the odd 5 minutes, he is 10 times better than useless Gosling
