If you were to lock the players up for a week, would it really be in a B&B on Filton Ave?

Well if we knew the ending we wouldn't watch the previous 2 hours of rubbish getting there. It's all very exciting. I'll have you know that Mini Me MkII has watched Disney Cars or Planes at least thirty times. He knows the ending, but he still watches the whole thing. I do the same with Kelly's Heroes.

It's strange but it's how people in the modern world communicate these days. Haven't that got email in Germany? Well, if someone offered to buy my business in a deal worth what, 30, 40 or 50 million, I really wouldn't take them seriously if the offer came in the form of an e-mail.
I had a similar email come through from the prince of Nigeria I found it ever so odd how it went straight through to my junk email.

"I can't confirm or deny that either of those are actually films, and even if they were I cannot say whether I have seen them. Although it's true I have watched films in the past, I didn't consider any of them to be as good as Excalibur."

Surely an electronically signed offer as an an attachment is perfectly normal? It's not all wax sealed parchment these days. I worked in a company dealing in 15M pound orders for Rolls Royce and it was all electronic "paperwork". I work in a company with a MONTHLY turnover of over 200 BILLION Euros (take that Hugo you small fry!), and it's all electronic. It's one thing to do this with an accepted system, but we are talking about a one-off purchase, with the added complications regarding land, debts, buildings, rights etc etc. So, in regards to Bristol Rovers I do feel that an electronic offer would not be acceptable way of doing business. A monthly turnover of 200 billion Euros? So 2,400 BILLION a year? 2,400,000,000,000? I don't think so.

If Nobby is anything to do with that operation you have to think profit is in pounds and pence.

The amount of money 'gambled' every day/week/month is truely staggering.

Nick - Why is orange jam called marmalade? Is it something to do with the Queen being ill in France and the maids taking her orange jam because it was her favourite? That's what I heard once anyway. Nick and Darrell should know.

I once borrowed a DVD/video of gentle mans entertainment, never got further than two minutes into it.
Dear Nick, please remember the forum is full of people suitably qualified to run a football club. Please remember that before you ignore our banal questions about why you haven't achieved world peace
