------------------------Nicholls------------------------
Leadbitter-----Lockyer-------McChrystal-------Brown
Bodin----------Sinclair---------Lines----------Montano
---------------Taylor----------Easter-------------------
This is the team I'd personally play. I doubt Montano will start though as it sounds as though he was poor yesterday and Leadbitter might not start.

I'd be happy with that and would def like to see Leadbitter start, is he fit enough yet does anyone know? Got impression he wasn't yesterday although can't be far off if he was on bench

Can't believe he'll start with Montano after yesterdays performance. I heard some Rovers fans at half time saying he's the worst winger they've seen in a Rovers shirt.
Personally I think that's going a bit far as he played pretty well against Carlisle but he really was awful yesterday.
McChrystal had a mare as well. Most unusual for him but he looked completely out of sorts and I'm not just talking about the ridiculous header that set up the 2nd goal.
Stevenage are supposed to be a very big, very direct side so I wonder whether reverting to 3-5-2 might be an option worth considering:
-------------------Nicholls----------------------
----------Clarke----Lockyer----Parkes------------
Leadbitter----------------------------------Brown
----------------Lines---Sinclair-----------------
--------------------Easter-----------------------
---------------Taylor-----Bodin------------------
Easter played really well in the hole yesterday but he could switch with Bodin.

Carlisle was our best league performance at home for weeks playing 4-4-2 with Bodin & Montano on the wings, surely we want to at least start with that formation again on Tuesday? With Montano being told if he plays as bad as yesterday he'll be subbed early.
I'd go:
Nicholls
Leadbitter or Clarke Lockyer Parkes Brown
Bodin Lines Sinclair Montano
Taylor Easter

Parkes had a good game and McChystal had a nightmare so would definitely have them the other way round, Montano had a poor game but then Gosling came on and did nothing so could be either of them really, not sure about dropping J. Clarke either tho I do always like Leads in the team, that's probably the toughest decision at the moment. Up front is just a battle for who's gonna play with Taylor, think it will be Easter as you've put, must win this game and I believe we shall

I am a big fan of DC but to get the best out of some players I believe we need a consistent team selection and I think this builds up partnerships.
No disrespect to our players but I think it's a lot to expect players at this level to have to get used to a constant changing team and formation.

We didn't do much but the most notable things came down the right, Bodin and Clarke plus Lines did a lot of good work at the end down the right also, I'm a big fan of leads and like him in the team but I think dropping Clarke would be very harsh, hope if montano starts he recreated his performance against Carlisle as he was very disappointing against Crawley

Can anyone on here explain why Rovers are paying Mildenhall to sit on the bench and pay a wage to a very very poor goalkeeper on loan to make mistake after mistake with no control of his area or communication with his defenders

If neither Montano or Gosling seem that good or consistent which to me they ain't then why don't we unleash the Leads on the right wing and have Bodin on the other ?

Because Bodin looks best on the right I guess?

The only reason he's still here is running his contract down on a massive wage.

Because Bodin looks best on the right I guess? Fair point but I think Bodin would do alright on the left and Leads would tear most full backs apart on the right wing. They could interchange anyway which is something our wingers tend to do under DC.

Wasn't Puddy brought in to stop Mildenhall contract extension being activated for one more appearance? Which was activated when he came on at wembley??

Montano is more a case of finding out if he can cut it or not or if we need to dip back in for a winger.
