Thought orient were dangerous and had some handy players, but the worst defence I've seen down the Mem in a long time!

Mildenhall 7.5. Confident handling display, good distribution. One punching error when he should not have even come for the ball. Well done Mildy after all the recent stick you have been getting on here.
Leadbitter 7.5 Constant thorn in Orients side and stopped by foul means more times than I can remember.
Lockyer 8.0 great defensive display, should have done better with one heading chance.
Parkes 7.5 Back to his battling best.
Brown 6 several unexpected errors, not his usual consistent display.
Montano 7 Awful for the first half hour but suddenly switched on and did some very good work
Mansell 7.5 Powerful fighting display
Sinclair 7.5 As Mansell.
Bodin 6 Not his best game, not for the lack of trying.
Easter 7.5 Looked up for it from the start, a very good effort.
Gaffney 9 MOM. A revelation, turned their centrebacks inside out with his clever spins and surprising pace. Quality first goal, worldly second, right behind his strike from our position in the WE, an absolute cracker.

Ref 6 Not the worst we have had by a long way.
Orient 7 Good side attacking but their centrebacks were made to look distinstly average and were easily turned by Gaffney on many occasions.
DC 8 Liked the look of the starting eleven as soon as I saw it, got it spot on.
Crowd 8 The loudest I have heard for a very long time after Gaffneys second went in.

Mildenhall 7.5 steady game constantly shouting to his defence,the punch error was caused by Mansell? jumping under his arm just as he went to punch it
so causing the error
Leadbitter 7 caused problems with his pace but needs to work on his delivery
Lockyer 8.5 formed rock steady partnership with Parkes
Parkes 8.5 dominant in the air and on the ground
Brown 7 not his best game but still the best LB we have had for many a year
Bodin 5 anonymous and I didn't even notice he had gone off
Mansell 6.5 worked hard defensively but little forward movement
Sinclair 6.5 ran around a lot
Montana 7.5 looked the winger he was a few years back constant threat
Easter 8.5 showed the towering Orient defenders that size was not important,class will win every time
Gaffney 9 two well taken goals and work rate phenomenal,was out on his feet at the end.Doubtfull we can afford to sign him

Taylor 6 no disrespect to him but once Easter had gone off our threat to the Orient defence virtually disappeared

Clarke O 6.5 Made his presence felt with 2 crunching mid field tackle that won the ball and left bigger men on their bachsides

Referee 4 seemed to be unaware of what was going on and blew reacting to players appeals

you were obviously having a slash when Taylor delivered an inch perfect chipped pass (with his LEFT) onto Gaffney's chest, which almost got him deserved hat-trick !!
