I smell with this poster (Kingswood, not Hugo or Bishopston) Yep 100% a city fan. just because i don't pretend every thing is brilliant constantly Fair enough, not a City fan. Apologies for the insult. But it's not that you 'don't pretend every thing is brilliant constantly', but that everything is negative constantly. Have you ever posted a positive comment?

Im positive about the players that deserve praise but certain people like Brown get praised even after poor performances just because they've been with rovers for a few seasons

I'd like to say Lockyer as I think he has been fantastic this season but I was never convinced with him last season at right back. Brown has been consistent as has the beard and Mansell. Hard to choose one out of those three for me.

Happy new year all. I just wondered what people's opinion was on the above? Got to be Browner for me Brown is consistently sh** not good So why have successive managers signed him up? Your posts are consistently "sh**"! In my opinion, of course Browner is consistently good enough for our level of football. And maybe higher.

I think the consistently good performers in our team over 2015, when played, are:
Brown Lockyer Sinclair Mansell Leadbitter
Considering Leads has been in and out of the team and Sincs was injured for a few months, I think the award would have to go to one of the other 3. Very hard to pick to be honest and it's great to see so many players performing week in week out.
Taylor deserves special mention here too as while not being consistent, has been one of our best players in 2015. I think it comes part and parcel of football that it is incredibly difficult to be labelled 'consistent' if you are an attacking or creative player. As soon as you miss a couple of chances or don't score/create for a few games, you're deemed to be going through a rough patch. It's far easier imo to be 'consistent' as a defensive player, probably backed up by my list above and the comments of others on this thread. If our creative attacking players were consistent, they'd be playing in the championship!

Can't look past Lockyer for this for me, he is just getting stronger and better with every game, there were a couple of occasions yesterday where someone elses man got away from them in or around the box and Toms excellent reading of the game saw him slide in perfectly to take the ball away from them, also he has played in every position across the back 4 and while LB or RB may not be his best position he can still do a decent job and can only get better imo.
To have as many games under his belt already at his age is very impressive and by far the best product of our youth system in a long time, other youngsters could do a hell of a lot worse than watch and learn from him and his attitude.

If any of our first team regulars were consistently sh** we wouldn't be in the position we're in. Every single one of his posts are negative and bordering on anti Rovers. Either that or he meant to write "Brown is consistently sh** hot good" Sh1t is brown Brown is not sh1t Brown is THE sh1t

Agreed Lockyer tips it for me, because he's younger and more deserving of recognition for consistency at his age.
So many others have been model pros and this shouldn't take anything away from them

Brown has played every minute of every game this season and deserves credit.
Sorry Kingswood but you are way off the mark if you think he is consistently sh**. You either don't attend many games, have no clue about football or are just trying to cause mischief.
Lockyear has grown into a fantastic prospect in 2015 and will go onto bigger and better things
Sinclair has been better this season than last

Brown is consistently sh** not good Pretty good assist yesterday mate. Yep and the Orient game too. I don't know the stats but I reckon he probably sets up more goals than most.
