That was a waste of 90 grand. Depends which way you look at it as without his goals we might still be stuck in the Conference, then no doubt fans would be saying why the hell didn't we sign Bliss when we had the chance!

Nathan, thank you for the significant contribution that you made last season. It's a shame that things didn't work out in the long run and I really hope you go on to have a prolonged professional career.
Let us not forget that he played a blinder in the second leg against Forest Green - the last game he started for us. That dummy for Lines' goal was sublime after Matty's brilliant surging run. One of my all time favourite Gas goals. It feels a bit unfair in some ways that he only played 20 minutes for us this season before the decision was made on him. Not saying it was the wrong decision, just that it was a bit cruel on him not to have a chance to prove himself.

he showed some good moments, but not often enough. if we get gaffney, not an issue, if not we need another bigger Centre Forward in I reckon

I like the guy and I like Torquay. Hope he has a blinder for the rest of the season and helps keep them up.

Good luck Bliss and good luck Torquay.
Having shared the pain that is Paul Buckle, there is a strange affinity.

That was a waste of 90 grand. Agreed I can't get swept away with sentiment for the guy either, I'm just glad rovers arn't paying him anymore.

Had high hopes when we signed bliss and he did well in some of his early performances for us.Confidence wise he was completely shot away in the end,and if he can recover from that he will be a decent signing for Torquay and I wish him well.

Should never have been signed off of the back of one performance. Best of luck to him but I honestly believe he will struggle to make an impact above suburban 3 level. Nice chap apparently.

Fair enough. I think he made an impact for us. Very good performance in the plays off second leg against Forest Green springs to mind, for one. I know he wasn't consistent and he has his limitations, but if he regains his confidence I have no doubt he can do a job at conference level. Good luck, Nathan.
