I don't know how many are affected, but the point about Flexi-ticket holders having to redeem their vouchers before Saturday is important. My mis-understanding about the scheme is that as long as you roll up before 1:30 (and pay a £4 surcharge for Cat A games) you would be OK. That is clearly not the case. thats what I did for the oxford game, always changing the rules

Anyone know if the 9,000 tickets sold, mentioned in the last update, includes away fans?

Online indication that there are about 1350 tickets still available in total, which means about a 10,000 crowd.
I am not sure whether/how this accounts for ticket sales in person at the club or supporters club shop.

I wonder that attracted so many fans to see those 3 clubs!!!! That period seems a lifetime away not wonder a decade. LOL Lambert started on the subs bench for the Forrest game.

The following shows the record of games/attendances between 18/10/1975 and 29/11/1975:-
1975/76 18/10/1975 H Sunderland W 1-0 Bannister 13,577 1975/76 12 21/10/1975 A Portsmouth W 2-1 Staniforth, Bannister 9,078 1975/76 25/10/1975 A Blackpool W 4-1 Smith W, Fearnley 2, Bannister (pen) 9,019 1975/76 01/11/1975 H Blackburn D 1-1 Staniforth 10,534 1975/76 04/11/1975 H W B A D 1-1 Fearnley 13,105 1975/76 08/11/1975 A Notts Co D 1-1 Staniforth 10,930 1975/76 15/11/1975 H Plymouth D 0-0 14,121 1975/76 22/11/1975 A Sunderland D 1-1 Williams D 31,356 1975/76 29/11/1975 H Chelsea L 1-2 Williams D 16,277
These were all Division 1 matches, so five consecutive home league games.
Those were the days, decent opposition with decent crowds

All Division 2 games apart from Northampton which was a AWC2 game. So only two home league games

thanks for clearing that up severncider, first time in forty years then! Hopefully we can continue it till the end of the season. I have a database of every league and cup games played since 31/08/1946 although it can only be viewed in Microsoft Works, which I am happy to share the database but NOT the software program with anyone who wants a copy.
If you want a copy, PM me with an email address.
It includes referees, bookings and sending off since the start of season 1995/96. It is a very easy database to interrogate. It does NOT include players for each game, I spent enough time setting up these details I have without adding those details. If you need those details, reference to Mike Jays book(s) would provide that for you.

I guess it's luck of the draw fixture wise as if we were playing, say, Accrington, it would be back to far lower than 9,000. Although it must be good for the club's bank balance!
