Gasplayer says 2 on target and 4 off target and that's with a team brimming with forwards and against a young GK on his debut. It sounded like nothing really happened other than their goal. SurelyRoss Etheridge is their regular number one this season? Mooney is their regular keeper.

Would anyone else take 7th right now? I bloody well would! No way! Current form table has us 2nd over the last 10 games our home form has improved dramatically, today always going to be tough Accy are a good side and our bogey side. We are in the middle of a tough run of games, but looking at our remaining fixtures I think we are in with a great chance of automatic promotion.

A playoff place is ours to lose, but there are still 17 games to go and front runners always hit a sticky patch on the run in we just have to hope we can take advantage. Top seven would still be great though.

Let's hope we don't hit a sticky patch ourselves it is so tight any one of about ten teams could make play offs Carlisle are in 13th place with 3 games in hand.

We are in the middle of a really tough 5 game spell against fellow promotion rivals.
Oxford - won Plymouth - drew Accers - lost So 4 points from those 3. Not great, not promotion form, but not a disaster Wombles - verge of the playoffs. Would be in the playoffs had Yeovil not been on a bit of a run lately to haul themselves off the bottom. Pompey - on the wane recently, and history shows that a defeat in a big FA cup match usually reflects badly on subsequent league form. Today was a HUGE match for Portsmouth. Local South coast rival, humiliating to see the once small club so far above them.
So I'll guess we can fairly easily beat Wimbledon at home and also capitalise on the post-cup slump to win at Fratton Park.
Giving us 10 points from the 5 matches. Promotion form and we're back on track. We were never going to get 15 points from that very tough 5 games.

I said before the last 3 games that we'll probably get something against Oxford and Plymouth then come unstuck at Accy!

I was at the game today, two evenly matched sides but ultimately I think Accy wanted to win the game more than us. A very poor game to watch as a fan, they have a few technical players in the midfield which pull the strings for them and for large spells of the game Mans/Sinclair were chasing shadows. Mildenhall pulled of a couple of good saves after mistakes from our defence (J.Clarke, Parkes & Brown all had poor games imo) but other then that they didn't look dangerous. Mans & Lawrence had tame shots at there keeper and a Gaffney header from a corner just went wide. 0-0 would have been a fair result but hopefully by losing this fixture will give us extra ammunition going into the next couple of games. Too many players had off-days today, forget about today and concentrate on winning the next game. Keep the faith COYB!

When we were leaving we were listening to Accy's manager on the radio, he said we are a very good team and that the goal was a fluke. It was also bloody cold there! For me Lawrence should have come off at half time. Good passing, poor tackling and shooting and absolutley no pace what ever.
