I just got bloody wet cycling to work from the 'wood to Brislington, no doubts about the game being on though, but it did get me thinking have we actually had any games called off since the rugger buggers moved out? The pitch is as good as I've ever seen it atm and I can't recall us having a game off for yonks. Who can forget the week of the Stockport cancellation !!

Do we have to have a thread every time it rains ? The only thing it does is put doubt in some people's minds about going to the game.

All joking aside guys, I live in Midsomer Norton and we have had loads of rain overnight causing a lot of flooding ,I know the pitch has been superb lately but I would hate to travel to Bristol and have the game called off at the last minute, this has happened three times to me in the past. The suggestion of putting the covers on would not have been a bad idea knowing the amount of rain forcast for today,so it would be much appreciated if there could be some updates on the forum.... The Rovers own Website always leaves it late to inform...Cheers UTG

Or the human influence which caused it to happen.

No, every time rain's forecast you start needless threads? If they are needless, don't participate.

Bloody hell. The weather forecast does not look good.
Game in doubt? Thanks T Bone. I live almost 2 miles from the Mem and nearly had a wasted journey. Higgs out, T Bone in!

Game in doubt? Was at the ground yesterday to get away tickets. Pitch looked beautiful. No doubt the game will be on.

Thank you for the thanks. That's the trouble with some in here Tbone they cannot accept that people with views other than their own can be correct. Great to see you seeing off the forum police in such grand style even though the prediction was bad news.

Thank you for the thanks. Why start a thread saying the same thing virtually every home match then, even if only rain showers are forecast??
