I've got Football Manager installed on my lap-top, tomorrow ill be trading in my old one for a new one. Is there a way to save the game and install it on the new laptop, or, do I have to start from scratch again?

Yeah, copy the FM save files off your HD to a memory stick.
When you re install on your new PC replace the empty save game files with the ones on your stick.
I've done this with no bother on many games over the years including FM.
That said I haven't got a working laptop now so haven't tried it on a few years.
It used to be a doddle.

If you are using steam you used to be able to save game files to their server?
Have you looked to see if you already save in the steam cloud?
You may not need to do anything??

Your fecking hat is criminal. No it's not, it's legal and quite fetching in the right circumstances.

So often the other 10 tracks were crap. Not always though. I rushed out and bought Damned Damned Damned by...The Damned because the single New Rose was so good. And every track was a cracker. Even my prog-rock worshipping friends agreed it was good because it was a breath of fresh air. Bit off topic sorry.

They sped up some tracks on that album to get the sound they wanted because they weren't competent enough to actually play at the speed they needed to at that point. Good album though.

Going back to Football Manager, is my experience a taste of things to come?
I got Rovers into the Prem, then the club was bought out from NH by a Thai businessman. At the end of that season, I made a profit of 65m. The tight Arab (well Thai actually) then pocketed the lot, and only gave me 200k for transfers!

Hugo your advice nearly worked, I went to CHD, into programm files, then Sega, then Football Manager. Looked everywhere, no saved files!!!!! ggrrrrrrr Was going to just delete the thing untill I saw on a help website, that the saved files should be in the documets page. Had a quick look, Happy days!! Any who, thanks for your advise!! I uploaded them to the new laptop, and it works!!!!

You'll soon find out that the term, 'a six month stretch' takes on a whole new meaning when Big Bubba and his boys get their hands on your purdy liddle arse.
