People just assume its bad because they are foreign. Lets be honest i can't think of anything as bad for the club as what we have now. If BRFC are not yet in their hearts we all have a duty to put it their !!! I assume its bad because "investment" suggests we will keep the same people in charge. Do you trust Toni to run things any better than the last 10yrs, especially if he has a few Dinars in his back pocket? A fish rots from the head. We need a serious look at the mistakes of the past so we can be sure we make the most of any potential influx of money. If that is the case then I am sure they will have to answer to the Jordanians who i would respectfully suggest that they may be a little more financially astute than anybody currently associated with our club at present

If BRFC are not yet in their hearts we all have a duty to put it their !!! I think people fear it's not necessarily good coz this was the deal NH chose that would keep him in control. So if you can't think of anything as bad as what we have now, what we will have, is largely the same people in charge. Correct, but they will have people looking over them to make sure they spend their money correctly

Lots of speculation going on on here... The club will make a statement later, they have to!

Yes they did correct it after they realised they have made a massive balls up.
My own personal opinion - the original figure of 1.5m shares was the figure after any investment/takeover, the corrected figure of 4m+ shares was the correct figure as at 30/06/2015.
So, do I assume that the missing 2.9m shares will be owned by the Jordanian connection BUT under the control of NH if he remains Chairman?
I'm just asking.
Any investor putting in that sort of money to build the stadium will want to own the whole club not just a part

Someone really needs to poke the other lot. This is obviously the best deal for those owed money? Not the club? From what I have been told, this lot are willing to build the UWE to the designed spec. The other lot weren't. I posted earlier but I think it was lost that the current board will stay on as advisors. I too heard that the Jordanians were in it to build the stadium etc

Im more worried about Bradshaw and Watola staying then Higgs. My main criticisms have been
1. Terrible commercial performence (Bradshaws area)
2. Terrible financial management and accounting (Watolas area)
3. Lack of investment in scouting and training facillities (as a result of 1 and 2)
Higgs at least has a construction background.

I don't blame NH for choosing these over the others (if its true!!), imagine the sh*t he'd get if he sold us off for a half scale stadium? We don't really know the whole situation until some kind of announcement is made, but I'd take it as it stands if it means the ground is built.

I can see Watola going as these guys are financial services types and he will be found out. Their connections may also help the commercial side.

I think those individuals will have to answer to some pretty financially astute people, probably far more astute than anyone associated with th eclub at prsent

Somebody was has close dealings with the club. well I turn up each home game & exchange money for entry, so you could say I have ''close dealings'' with the club. I just really hope what you say is true UTG

I don't personally believe NH staying on is a bad thing provided he has the right guidance and/or his role changes.
Whilst he has made a royal mess of things, depending on how good this deal is, he would need some credit for brokering it.
IF (and I do realise it's a big if) the debts are cleared and the stadium is built, that is still surely a massive step forward?
NH ability to run a football club is questionable (at best) but he does love this club and with him still on board, we at least have less chance of getting f**ked over IMO.

If he stays on than so be it, he probably would have little influence. Maybe he would remain to 'project manage' (at least in name) the stadium and then bow out
