Gotta say, I just don't see the love in with Leadbitter. Just about every time he charges down the wing , as soon as a defender gets near him he stops, and tries to find an out ball. For god sake take em on and get crosses in. His crossing is often poor, and I agree with an earlier poster when he said the cross for the goal was wind assisted and much to high. And god knows how many times he gives a poor pass and we end up under pressure. Taylor? Well why play him. Lawrence, why did we sign him, bloody useless. We have Fallon on the bench and no target man up front to hold the ball and head crosses. At least try him, or why bring him here. I'm not saying he will set the world on fire, but until he came on at Accrington, we didn't win one header in their box. He however won three in the time remaining. Liam Lawrence was a quality player when at Stoke where he was mainly used in a wide midfield role. His dead ball deliveries are generally excellent and he showed this a bit yesterday in horrendous conditions. I think it's way too early to judge how he's going to do here. I agree, he needs a few more games yet. Lambert took 10 to get going.
