So they've done it again. The scum that are BCFC 1982 Ltd have gone and defaced the war memorial gates at the Memorial Stadium.
This time with a plaque deemed as "humour" by the lowlife idiots.
Utter, utter scum. I hate them so much if makes my blood boil.
I would upload the pictures but I'm about to head to work and am on my mobile. I'm sure someone who uses Facebook should be able to later.
It's been posted on the BCFC Appreciation page and has 250 likes and a number of comments - and not one City fan is anything other than delighted. ***g scum.

What does it say? Looks like the original words have been painted over and a plaque put up but can't read it.

And today is the day marking 100 years since the start of the First World War.
Utterly disgraceful.
They will just claim ignorance again though.

Shows all their 'save the war memorial' cries were just bullshit and they were just using the memory of the dead to push their own agendas. And then they deface that very same memorial. On a day like today. A special place in hell for people like that. I hope they all ***g burn.

I hope a formal letter of complaint is sent to Bristol City on behalf of BRFC English Heritage and Charlotte Leslie requesting they put out a letter to all their fans about the appalling defacing of a war memorial. But let's not hold our breath as we all know the club holds it's fans in such high esteem

Personally, it doesn't offend me. That being said, however, is that it shows up their viewpoints regarding us and stadium as nothing more than point scoring. Imagine using a War Memorial just to score points. Pathetic.

I'm consistently disappointed in human beings.

These certain City fans were just too idiotic to know the significance. That being said, of course it's pathetic and embarassing to touch the memorial gates for anything, but do you expect anything different from that lot? Happy to use the Memorial Gates to score points and it isn't the first time either.

Unfortunately they are bereft of any intelligence and live life at such a low level they will not even grasp the disgrace they bring upon themselves and their 'club'.
To show respect you must earn respect, it doesn't come hand in hand with a benefit payment.
Sad thing is there's probably some poor staffy going hungry this week to pay for that plaque.

At the end of the day, it's a war memorial and should not be touched - simple as that.
My late grandad fought in the war and it makes my bloody boil to think these low life degenerate scum do not see an issue with their actions.
Whether it was yesterday or today makes no real difference - it's wrong which ever way you look at it.
They are absolute scum and I hope those that played a part burn in hell.
