Trying to book overnight accommodation for this one but prices are high and availability low. Either gasheads have already booked up places big time or the national ferret appreciation society must be holding their annual event at the same time as our match!

I stay at local pubs just outside of York which are about half the price of places within the City walls

Gabbiadini's place is only doing 3 nights min. Wonder if he does a supporters discount. Must fill up if for any reason they play Derby

Either gasheads have already booked up places big time or the national ferret appreciation society must be holding their annual event at the same time as our match! I now live in Howden East Yorks, there is a Premier Inn at Airmyn that my brothers stay at when they visit.I will be on the train from Howden to York for the match. This will be a very important game for both clubs and if York go down our last visit to Bootham Cres, I used to live in Belmont drive off of Radcliffe Ave, shame about the 82ers pub becoming a shop.

Bank holiday weekend so will be expensive.

Plenty of cheap hotels in Leeds and only a 20 minute train journey to York

I've had my eye on this game for a long time.
Could be an important match. Maybe not quite blackpool 1990, but still has potential to b a big gas following to a club who may even be relegated by then.
Biggest away capacity of our last few away games. 2000 terrace + some seats.
Ground I've not been to. Bro lives in Leeds. What's not to like.

Shame it's not Notts County last away game. 5,000 gas would've been mint

York is a big tourist destination & a relatively small city.

Booked my hotel for this one in January and it was already fairly pricey back then.

There are lots of halt type stations where you pay on the train and the bus service's are good, eg the 415 from Selby into York run's every 20 mins, as Pudsey say's it's only 30 minuets from Leeds. A lot of independent Brewers up here,my brother Brian & his son Paul use the Beaufort

Booked our B&B back in October the rooms were selling out fast back then. Expect to pay around £80 a night, even in a Premier inn or Travelodge.

Some hotels in Leeds still have rooms at under £50 a night on trivago. Better night out than York too

Better night out than York tooThat depends on whether you prefer supping a few pints of real ale in a 300 year old pub in a lovely old city, or smashing some jagerbombs in a chrome and glass bar surrounded by semi-naked Leeds "ladies" who'll give you a quickie if you buy them a large doner and cheesy chips. Decisions, decisions.
