I think we should have had this one postponed as some of the other clubs have done. We certainly missed Lockyear. Both Mc Crystal and Parkes manage to commit a few slip ups in the game, and lets remember they were our preferred pairing when we went down. I also think Clarke made his changes too soon in the game. For me we lacked midfield bite, and this was only worse after the change.

Bit disappointed in the manager again today. Once again he set the team out a bit too defensive. And once again he has had to make early changes. The change today was completely needless. Let the opposition worry about us.Especially when they are crap. How the f**k was that defensive? 442 with 2 attacking wingers. Again with your moronic agenda. He went missing for six games then right on cue he's back today. And there will be others. I'm lost for words with some people.

I think Tbone has a point because after Friday most Managers would have left their side as it was.
Danny certainly didn't deserve to be dropped and we have in the end worried about a lower team than let them worry about us which can be construed to being defensive. It's disappointing because they clearly were not on that good a run and that's what concerns me about now having to play so many teams at the bottom as we are almost a "cup-final" to some.

Time for calm heads!
We've had a great run and 21 points to play for!
Oxford going backwards - Portsmouth v Plymouth in April as well!
Plenty of twists and turns!

Parkes didn't play last Friday due to the birth of his daughter, secondly he was put in to deal with any "direct, route one" balls that McChrystal didn't deal with we were let down in midfield imo

We lost end of move on 7 to go and for what it's worth probably lose couple more alone way but so will Plymouth Accrington and Oxford far from over plenty more twists and turns yet what ever happens going to be exciting end to season that's for 100% guaranteed!

I think today he dropped Leadbitter to try and keep it tighter.

What worries me is that the reason for Oxford's backwards form is the JPT Final on Sunday. Once that's over I fear we'll see a backlash from them, similar to 2006-07 for us.

I actually agree the back four was a more defensive back four from the Cambridge game.

DC changes a winning side and we lose. Meltdown.

Kinda weird thing to say of a manager who had just won 6 games straight using the philosophy of a squad system, changing the team to suit the opposition.

Lines and Lawrence in midfield is ok going forward but will never work as a defensive unit, it was disappointing to see Montano taken off as a lot of people have commented on his defensive contribution recently.
