Renewed mine today and the book number is : 03394. Last season I got my ticket just before the deadline and it was number 2807. Don't know if this is significant? But the shop was pretty busy and whilst I was in there Steve Hamer, Wael; Ian Holtby and another chap emerged from the office.

I'm thinking about buying a season ticket for myself and Mrs Gastropod for next season as we normally attend enough home games to make it worthwhile. We either sit in the East Stand or stand on the East Terrace so I would get East Stand season tickets. A have a few questions that I hope fellow forumers can help me with: - Do I have any choice over where in the East Stand the seats would be?
- Sometimes I take my Dad - is it possible for the 3 of us to sit together?
- What do people normally do if they can't attend a game? (I live 90 miles from Bristol)
Thanks and UtG

If all west and east stand seats are sold out that would equate to more tickets than we are saying we've sold already!!

If all west and east stand seats are sold out that would equate to more tickets than we are saying we've sold already!! Well, we can't sell existing season ticket seats until the renewal period has ended. So it might be that just the 'spare' seats have sold out.

That's a good point, so they are probably anticipating them to sell out based on new season ticket holders and assuming all current holders renew. Today's figures are only useful if we know what percentage are new.

In the list of things anyone (new owners, management, staff, players, fans) should be worried about, season ticket sales for next season are not in the top 50, for any of us (from owners to fans). Stop worrying, let's get another three points this week....

All spares sold, the current season tkt holders have until 1st June to renew No you can't choose where you sit but you get given a few options and what's available,I rang up the first day on sale for west stand asked to be under Waels box just in case any sly £50 notes drop out his sky rocket but non going

You are correct in what you state, seats will only become available if existing seat holders decide not to renew.

Thanks and UtG Yes you will have a choice of seats from whatever is left currently unsold or already allocated to current ST holders. It's very unlikely you will be able to get a seat for your dad on odd occasions but you may be lucky. Your best option is to contact the club prior to the game as they will allow you to transfer your ST voucher for a ticket elsewhere in the ground so you could join your dad on the terrace. If you can't attend a game that's tough luck, tickets are not transferrable. I am sure there are people who lend out their book for an odd game so someone can use it and may get a tenner or something off a mate but we here at gaschat would never do that and cannot condone or suggest that anyone should.

Thanks and UtG Someone has said all East & West stand seats are sold out already. They may have meant for the remaining games this season as it is impossible to sell out East and west stand with only 1400 season tickets

It was me that said that Season Tickets for both of the Stands (East and West) are already sold out for next seaon. I was told that when I tried to buy one at the shop before the Crawley game. I have also tried to buy one online - but they are not available online either.
You are right in saying that they cannot yet release any existing Season Tickets until the end of the Renewal Period. But it does mean that all the currently spare seats have been sold. It is possible that a few will be released if current season ticket holders do not renew - I am not sure if there is a waiting list for this.
I guess that it will also mean that there will not be any stand seats available for "pay on the dayers" next season.
